Umm, can I ask if everyone saw the 1st QTR or was it just me?

We dominated Philly on Offense and put them 3 and out (not every time) on defense.

Until Jake imploded/OLine quit blocking altogether, we were winning that game in strong fashion.

But maybe I'm the only 1 who caught that. I figured that's why this loss is was that much more disappointing, we were winning that game and not just "barely".

Like most teams, the first 15-20 plays are scripted.

To be fair, it's not only when he slides into the slot that Jake throws it his way. He throws it to #89 when he's lined up tight and runs a fly route while triple covered. He throws to #89 when a defender gives him a large cushion. He throws it to #89 when a defender presses him at the line. He throws it to #89 when the tight ends are wide open and Smith is absolutely draped with defenders. He throws it to #89 when he's standing on the sidelines.

The problem with Brown's interceptions wasn't that he new the ball was coming it's that the ball was thrown poorly.

First quarter we looked dominant, hell even after the first interception everything was going ok. We managed to keep them to a field goal. After that the offense and special teams melted down.
