funny that the thing that rip concentrated most on was ball security.

Seems he needs to focus a little more. IMO we should put in a pump a go every now again cause Teams like to jump our routes to Smith. Then again if you dont have time in the Pocket its all for not. The Eagles blitzed the crap out of us.

In the NFCCG against Seattle, Mike Holmgren yelled out a command to our defense, and our defense did it, thinking it was turdo's voice. He yelled 'move', to get us out of our base defense. It was sad. Remember the Keyshawn play against the Eagles? They knew exactly what we were going to do before we did it. They saw a butt pat or something.

definitely NOT the coach's fault. Definitely not his job to get Delhomme out of a "funk"

that was just stupid

Your an Idiot. He was overthrowing and under throwing people all game. That is what a QB coaches Job is for. To get him out of bad habits that cause turnovers.

IMO having tendencies means you have to break them a some as well. If you don't do what the defense thinks you are going to, you probably will catch them off guard quite a bit.

Being able to do that gives you enough room to work and be great at those tendencies you have created.

coaches fault for not adjusting...not commiting turnovers.our game plan was plain as vanilla ice cream.can we fire fox today lmao........i stayed the whole game and was disgusted at what i just seen. no changes, or adjustments or even a sense of urgency.d looked pretty good tho.

We used the wildcat... twice. And it's not like they read into it as a running play both times. Oh wait...

Good point, coaches didn't adjust. Agree completely. No one can argue that the coaches didn't adjust.

However, at what point in our coaching and in our offense do we, apparently, say that we'd rather chuck the ball up into the air rather than take a sack? Hell, isn't Fox supposed to be a conservative coach? That doesn't seem that conservative at all, now does it?

Again, I am not completely blaming Jake. In all likelihood, even without Jake's meltdown, we probably would have lost that game. But I am relatively sure that we would not have been absolutely raped and raped over and over again on the field.

So the QB coach is out there locking in on Steve and throwing into triple coverage? That's the QB coach doing that, right? So you are telling me that the coach is legitimately saying, "Throw it to Steve, regardless of situation." Really, that's what you think?

The sad part is that Jake was picked off in single coverage because he under threw balls. No triple coverage needed.

I agree.....we ran two deep plays to slow ass Mohammad and Moose couldn't catch up to either of those passes and when we finally run Smith deep, Jake under throws him and get picked. I live in PA about an hour north of Philly and all I hear is how Jake is a joke....and the really funny thing is, we paid the guy 20 million in the off season. I'm going to have to hear this crap about this game all season long.

Someone said we started out vanilla and came out with nothing...

Umm, can I ask if everyone saw the 1st QTR or was it just me?

We dominated Philly on Offense and put them 3 and out (not every time) on defense.

Until Jake imploded/OLine quit blocking altogether, we were winning that game in strong fashion.

But maybe I'm the only 1 who caught that. I figured that's why this loss is was that much more disappointing, we were winning that game and not just "barely".
