Rich Eisen's case for Cam as MVP

The best player on the best team should be MVP. That's how I've always looked at MVPs.

It'll come down to Cam and Brady and Cam is looking like the thoroughbred on our undefeated Panthers.

If we ever get Norwell back and in game-shape for this last stretch, it could go a long way in keeping Cam comfortable...Ted Ginn's drops haven't helped, but when you're scoring 5-TDs in multiple games on an undefeated team, that really looks good on a possible MVP candidate.

wouldnt be surprised to see Short making the pro bowl and possibly the All-Pro team with some DPOY votes thrown in there as well.

Norwell has been back for two weeks.

Huh? Amini is out for the season and played well this season but wasn't really a bid loss other than solid depth.

I agree, didn't know he was done for the year. He was crucial for depth.

Really proud of our OL for the most part, it would be a lot easier on our guys if KB hadn't been injured because he would've taken a lot of pressure off our running game, the opposing pass rush...not to mention having to be covered by an extra DB or LB over the middle.

hard to believe how much we have to look forward to going forward.

I don't think we are anywhere close to 12-0 without Cam's passion, leadership and greatness on and off the field. He believes in himself and it gives the entire team such a confidence.

Wondering how much the offensive playbook is going to open up when KB comes back.

Olsen up the seam, Ginn stretching the field, cross and wheel routs by Funchess and KB, with Brown and maybe Bersin running the slot.

2-TE sets plus KB blocking for the running game.

im living this season but can't help but to look forward tO getting KB back and some more experience for Brown and Funchess.

Cam can be, and will be, one of the greats.  12-0 throwing to a WR corps that most NFL fans couldn't name if there were $100,000 on the line.  I think Gettleman and Rivera have done something special here.  Cam had all the talent in the world coming in, but his maturation has been incredible and I think a lot of that has to do with this current staff.  Coming into this season I thought we had a shot at a 10-6 record.  I thought that with KB out and what looked like a mediocre to decent OL we would make our presence known this season but that 2016 would be our run.  How sweet it is to be wrong.  Everyone on this team is playing like their lives depend on it.  I can even excuse Kony Ealys two consecutive jumps because I know he just wanted to paste Drew Brees, not to pad his own stats, but because he wants to win. You can tell by Kony's reaction on the sidelines.  Cam coming over to calm him was one of my favorite things I've seen this season.  This team is on fire, and the defense is going to eat ATL alive next week.  One game at a time our boys are proving that even though they may not be the most talented team to play the game, they have the greatest locker room environment in the league, and that winning for your team is more special than individual statistics.

Now that is some kind of great football commentary!  Panthers are winning over the hearts and exciting all those who really love football.  I'm pumped.

The line about Cam throwing great deep balls if Ted Ginn might maybe choose to catch some nearly had me spewing my coffee all over my computer this morning!  LOL.

How did you post a tweet?

Apparently it doesn't work in all browsers (there may be a problem with Chrome).  But at least with Firefox and some other browsers, right click on the timestamp link of the tweet.  You can then choose copy link location.  (the tweet's URL)

Paste the link, and hit enter.  You may have to wait 20 or 30 seconds for the tweet to embed, so don't hit submit until you see the tweet showing up on your screen.

"But but he forgot TD when talking about the defense.  That's a slap in the face. The amount of disrespect this team gets is unbelievable."

You know some asshat on the huddle is thinking that after watching the video.

Great video. CaMVP

Think about what he said.  Right on the money.  Cam would make history.  First Heisman Trophy winning QB to be MVP.   Amazing.

Riverboat Ron is saying all the right things but I seriously doubt anyone sits this regular season.  Why take a chance sitting players going into the playoffs.  You already have a bye week because you are the #1 seed.  So now you are off for 2 weeks?

Someone ailing a little bit... Sure.  The whole damn team.  You have a chance for history.  I can tell you now there won't be one player that will want to sit going into week 17 if we are undefeated.  Unanimous, guaranteed.

Go Panthers
