Jacobs has torn PCL...

Apprently it's not serious...but makes him prone to taking the wrong hit and tearing a different ligament. Call me crazy, but as physical as this team is and with our wierd history of knocking out star players in the past....I would be concerned as a Giants fan with him playing from here on out. I was glad to see that it slows his cutting and acceleration ability....

by them playing him is sign of being desperate sounds to me NY giants wrote the rest of the NFC off as having a team to be able to be number 1 in the conference besides them.

because why sit him against Dallas but now he can play against us.

and news flash for the gman he may run over other teams but we dont struggle against bigger backs we only struggle against small backs like warrick dun.

Michael Turner?

Why would our previous matchup be more important than our more recent one? We aren't playing the Giants in Week four...

We stopped Turner the first time, but not the second. We didn't stop Dunn the first time, but did the second time. We're just going to have to wait and see how our defense responds.

Maybe the fact that it's a "torn PCL" makes us think that it is more serious than it sounds. They say it's not serious. I don't know, that's one of the ligaments that hold the knee in place and those are the ones that end careers all the time in the NFL. I guess you can play with an injured PCL and maybe there really isn't a huge risk.

But if there is any risk to seriously injuring the knee, I don't see how you can justify playing the guy. Especially when you have good backups.

let him play.

he's always been a high risk for injury because of his size and running style. he has improved and running lower his year over previous years but he isn't going to be able to forget about his knee. best way to take someone of his size down has always been to take his legs out from under him. let that happen once or twice and dude won't be finishing the game.

The PCL is what connects your middle knee joint together. Its just as important or more important then your ACL or MCL. If he twists his knee the wrong way it could be a year before he recovers. The Giants need this win bad and they are rushing him back no doubt.

Yeah, I'm absolutely sure without Plaxico and this injury, he wont do much against us
