Something something destiny, something something fate, something something synchronicity...

Dec 7, 2014 - Carolina scored 41 points on 497 yards of offense, http://espn.go.com/nfl/game?gameId=400554388

Dec. 6, 2015 - Carolina scored 41 points on 497 yards of offense. http://espn.go.com/nfl/game?gameId=400791602

2014 game:

2015 game:

Also, interesting to see the difference that turnovers can play in a game: Carolina held the ball for about the same amount of time in both games and NO had about the same number of first down, but Carolina turned the ball over 2 more times yesterday and gave up the blocked-kick 2 pt. conversion.

Unless, I miss understood you. I thought the Panthers had a lot more first downs in yesterday's game than the Saints (at least they did by the the late third, early 4th to be surpassed)?

Panthers should have had around, or over 30?

Panthers had 33, Saints had 21. In 2014 the Panthers had 24 while the Saints had 18 but they actually had higher TOP than in 2015, a testament to the offensive pacing this year vs. years past.
