If last night, combined with Brady's loss to the horrid Eagles, doesn't make Cam the MVP favorite, the voters are delusional. Cam is now the NFL version of his year at Auburn: he simply will not stop, and no one CAN stop him. He's now the most complete QB in the League, capable of everything any QB can be good at. Passing, throwing, winning...all metrics he excels at. Congrats Panthers fans!

He will need to keep on pace to hit those numbers but they are very easy for him to achieve and even surpass that if he keeps playing to this level. If he averages 250 yards passing 2 TDs passing, 30 yards rushing and adds 2 or 3 more rushing tds and he will easily have the total statistics necessary that will appeal to voters combined with his win totals

Of course he didn't do it just for that reason but it is funny that as soon as the idiots started moaning about Cams stats and how they're the same as Kaepernick he then started racking up TDs like nobodies business

That whole thing was comical. Weeks later, one is still an MVP candidate (arguably MVP frontrunner) and the other lost their job to Blaine Gabbert... doing a stats-only comparison was clearly a relevant and insightful exercise.

I never thought it possible to have a 103 million dollar contract to be a bargain, but Cam Newton has done it.  Could you just imagine how much money Cam could get if he held us over a barrel instead of being the team player that he is with this extension?
