I'm not gonna lie, I didn't see him doing all that much to take notice. Maybe that's a good thing though, as a CB.

 

He did have a boss ass textbook tackle on a screen though.

He doesn't look rusty aside from some of the hesitation he had as a result of not knowing all of the responsibilities yet

Made a couple of very good open-field tackles for us today. Didn't get trounced for big yards as well, so did a good job of it at the nickle spot. Happy to have him here, for sure.

Definitely better than Colin Jones... Our secondary issues today were a mix of having to use Colin Jones and Safeties not being in the right position. So that's good for him. I swear he got held on the Ingram TD. So he might need to do a better job at fighting through those blocks.

Once Jones got torched on that first TD, you saw Shaq and Finn play slot rolls, he will get back into the grove with a full week of practice and that will help big time.

Bene was the worst in the secondary today though, imo.   Harper had some whiffs as well.   Bene has to catch that INT, it was right in his hands!

Dude was solid. Def an upgrade over Collin Jones in coverage. He'll get better and be ready to go for the playoffs.
