Following up on the above comment, it was against Washington in week 11 that Cam moved into the #2 spot behind Peyton Manning for most combined yards in 1st 5 seasons.

Here are some of Cam's stats for that game. Hoping today is the day Cam adds another passing & rushing TD combo to tie him with Steve Young for the record.

–Threw four touchdowns passes in the first half, the most by a Panthers quarterback in a half.

–Set a career high and tied the Panthers’ single-game record with five touchdown passes (Steve Beuerlein vs. Saints on 1/2/00).

–Upped his career total to 19,662 combined yards, passing Jake Delhomme (19,518) for most in Panthers’ history.

–Passed Dan Marino (19,428) and Matt Ryan (19,457) for the second-most combined yards in a player’s first five seasons. Newton’s 19,662 yards trail only Peyton Manning‘s 21,174.

–Became the only player in NFL history with at least 100 passing touchdowns (102) and 25 rushing touchdowns (39) in his first five seasons.

Between Cam, Fozzy and Tolbert that's ample opportunity to limit him if they really want to.

I wish CAP would be active, but I don't know who else they could deactivate.  It's frustrating, but a good problem to have.  I just really hope we won't regret the fact that he has so little game time this season.

Is Wegher the only player on the roster who hasn't been active all season?  Norwood was active 1 game, and Marlowe played last week...

Got to get BWegs in at least ONE game Ron...!

      There probably was a fine needle thread line where it could have worked to some level as the kid has talent.  But Rhule and fitt completely ruined him.  He wasnt mentally tough enough to overcome their fugery.  Trade up for the kid, tell everyone you had a first round grade on him, bury him on the depth chart behind Walker, get him killed behind a poo line and thats a wrap.  He never got a legit chance here

      I mean it got Corral drafted by the Panthers and ranked #1 in the class by Simms lol.  That dude had no shot at being a productive NFL QB.
