Detroit should be BETTER than that, to allow that completion to take place without being in the proper position. Which is why I say coaching and preparation outweighs being "better" in fans eyes

Are you okay? You seem pretty fired up man. It's late, get to bed. Coaching and preparation and talent is a part of a team being better than another team. Our coaching staff and our players are significantly better than the Packers' and the only way they can beat us is if we beat ourselves by not playing up to our capabilities. If we're playing at our best and healthy, nobody can beat us.

I'm fine thanks for asking, but in the NFL anyone can lose any game is all I'm saying..

Hey! Not fair! While I searched for video you edited your post. :)

Rogers was most definitely beyond the line of scrimmage & would've not been able to throw a forward pass. But I found the video. Watch it yourself. Neither Rogers' helmet nor chin strap were twisted until he got up off the grass. Definitely NOT while he was on his way down to the grass. The face mask was not grabbed. It was a very bad call.

Yeah, I don't think you're going to find a lot of support for the idea that Aaron Rodgers is not a clutch quarterback.

And for the record, getting that 9 point lead late in the game on the Packers is not so easy.

Rodgers has one of the best winning percentages of any QB in the league.

you can be a good QB and not necessarily be clutch. like you said, its rare for a team to be up two scores on the packers, mainly due to the fact that rodgers runs a dangerous and prolific offense. i like rodgers, i think he is a top 3 QB in the league, but the numbers dont lie.

Meh.  A lot of those are from his first year as a starter, several are from when he was a back up and came in late in the game

A lot of those he also brought them back only to have defense give up a winning score, including being down 35-10 in the third of a playoff game and then scored 35 points in the second half only to lose in overtime.

only one is from his backup days. yes he defense blew a couple, but he shouldered the blame in quite a few: (not counting his first year as a starter)

- only led them to FG range down 31-26

- pick six against tampa down 3

- fumble six vs arizona

- twice sacked

- incomplete against SF on their side of the field

- strip sack against Buffalo

- INT against us this year

Numbers lie plenty, especially in the NFL. Take a look at Cam Newton's stats as an example.

It'd also be helpful to know that same stat for other QBs.

in this case, the numbers really dont lie.

Even if Rodgers was 3-22, that still would stand out among his highest peers. Andrew Luck is already 8-20 (.286) when trailing by multiple scores in the second half. Peyton Manning is 21-60 (.259) and Tom Brady is 19-37 (.339). It's not as if Rodgers cannot play well in such situations, but you can find a bunch of situations where Rodgers has the best efficiency stats, Brady's team wins the highest rate of games, and the Indianapolis-drafted quarterbacks overcame the longest odds. Ultimately, people are going to remember the triumphs best and not worry what your interception rate is. Why do you thinkBrett Favre is remembered more for 45 game-winning drives instead of 54 turnovers in 72 failed opportunities? Whether Rodgers is too "scared" to throw interceptions from behind or whatever it may be, "almost comeback" endings like Sunday's have been there for Rodgers his whole career
