Caldwell did similar things while he was coach at Wake.  From all reports, he is one of the most decent people in football, but his game management and preparation is baffling at times.

enjoy the game...enjoy the great panthers season...and enjoy life...its not that complicated...its a concept

humans are going to make mistakes...we all want to strive for perfection but we also want to enjoy life and be home before 2am...sticking a microscope to each and every play is absurd...if the refs really did their job they would call a penalty on each and every play...im sure you have noticed holding calls that aren't called and pass interference that isn't called...understand its interpretative what is a penalty...and some semblance of game flow is needed as well...I just think you are using up way too much energy and attention on refereeing and not on enjoying football
