I think its interesting that Steph comes off as very likable even to opposing fans. He gets alot less hate than many of the other stars because of the combination of how likable he is, how family oriented he is and just how amazing some of the stuff he does on the court is. Even if you cant stand him... as a basketball fan he makes you say... "What did I just see?" '

Hornets fans have love for the Curry family and will no doubt get love when he's comes home to Charlotte... but I wouldnt call it a home game for the Warriors either. 

 

This isn't meant to sound like a dig at the NBA but it's definitely more  player-centric than team-centric when compared to football.

The Charlotte fans seemed to be on the right side of it until Steph went on that ridiculous 3rd quarter run. At that point every one just watched in awe. 

Plus am sure he had a lot of family there for Dell's celebration

LeBron James is my favorite NBA player. You can call me a bandwagoner just because he played for 2 different teams, but I really don't give a damn. I can cheer for whoever I want. I just wanted to point out that Steph Curry is a great player and even though he and the Warriors beat my team in the NBA Finals, I have no hate in my heart towards him.

Fans should appreciate greatness no matter what team or player they cheer for.

I think with the growing popularity of Fantasy sports over the past 10 years, it's more acceptable now to be a fan of a player rather than soley a team. 

I have "my teams" but I also have individual players I cheer for as well.

That's true, but some people get so mad if you're a fan of a player over a team. 

They act like there are specific rules to follow to be a fan. It's ridiculous, but it doesn't phase me one bit.

Its about where you from. None of the Hornet players are from Charlotte. They wear the jersey but care about the money. Steph he loves Charlotte. If he could he would come to Charlotte.

I have Warriors season tickets. I either take Bart to the game or I drive and park at Oakland Bart and walk across the ramp. 

When they go to SF I'll have to sell 3/4 of my tickets because SF is a journey from Livermore on a weekday.
