Tillman and Star "Really good possibility of playing this week"

Rivera didn't seem overly concerned about Star after the game, especially since there was a 10 day break before this Sunday.  All the beat writers seem to think Peanut's expectation for coming back and the team's are different.  I would think you would have to err on the side of caution given Tillman's age, injury history, and where we are in the year.  A Week 13 game against a reeling Saints team is not worth risking an injury that could reaggrevate something and keep him out the rest of the year and the playoffs.

I hope Tillman isn't rushing back...reports of the severity of his injury seem to contradict what his feelings about the injury are. I'd rather he take another few weeks to get fully healthy for the playoffs rather than rush back.

Doubt peanut plays. Star might but with limited snap count depending on how the game shapes up.

Rather one of those guys sit a game and save it for ATL or Tampa. I think they're going to give us more of a fight than the stains. Even the Giants. lol.

I'm not sure there have been any real reports of any thing more severe. It just seems to be speculation. They said he was close to practicing last week and now he is practicing. That doesn't seem terribly severe.

Think Peanut is playing some gamesmanship? I know the team/staff can't/won't mislead with injury reports, but I don't think there's anything against a player saying he could probably play.

The team is so confident that they signed Finnegan, though I do concede that it could be precautionary since we're nearing the home stretch of the season.

Bene is playing great.  Bene's replacement?  That is worrisome b/c it seems to be easy pickings.  I would imagine as bad as NO is that is a matchup Brees should have a field day with.  Shorter throws to the slot also help negate some of the pass rush. 

Hopefully Ron can scheme something up.  Jones simply can't play man coverage on those slot guys.  Gonna need to run some heavier zone stuff IMO and take Jones out of it.

Don't know how much Finnegan will play this Sunday, but that's why we brought him in cuz teams have attacked us in the slot. Even Bene was struggling when he played in the slot. Since Bene moved outside Colin Jones has been getting punked
