Saints week Part Deaux

Obviously we got direct revenge on it a few weeks later but 70/80% of that team was around in 2013 when they took an 8 game winning streak to New Orleans and promptly got whipped in front of a national audience, considering how things were then, how sweet would it be for the team now to turn that full circle and help bury the coffin of the Brees/Payton era down there?

Starting with that fateful 2013 game in which the Saints came in with a 10-4 record, they have gone 13-18.

Domenik Hixon ended the Saints dynasty, and that coffin has been buried for awhile, the organization just didn't want to believe it, and much like Hurney after 2008, not wanting to let go only complicates the rebuild even more.

Heck, the Panthers got one of the top general managers in the league to clean the mess up and it still took four years to build the Panthers into one of the best teams in football.

Feels like the early 2000s all over again.
