i cringe with injuries and hope like heck we are able to rest some guys the last few weeks.  Big blow for the Cards.

I hope the Panthers have been made aware of this. Keep them sober minded and focused on smart, safe football. I know not everything can be avoided, but I want our guys to lay their heart out on every play while somehow keeping their bodies safe. Can't dance at the Ball if you hurt yourself in auditions...

Obviously until we secure Home Field throughout the starters play but if we are fortunate enough to do so early just playing the starters a quarter or two in the remaining regular season games would seem prudent.

This is huge.  Between him and banged up Ellington, Cards have little run game to speak of.  Will make defending them much, much easier.

 

Like I said, Seattle is the 2nd best team in the NFC.  We're going to have to beat them in our first playoff game, but if we do, we're gonna roll over whoever in the NFCCG on our way to the 'Bowl.

Just hope to god we don't let Wilson scramble-throw us to death

After watching the Broncos/Patriots game, I hope we do not have have any injuries, they were taking out guys left and right.

It's a tough injury for them but they have plenty of other weapons on offense. Their wide outs are miles better than ours. Their RB by committee should give them enough production. The only player that offense can't afford to lose is Palmer.

The Seahawks are going to win their first game regardless of whether they're a 5 or 6. If they're the 6 we play them no matter what happens in the other game. If they're the 5 then we would still play them unless Green Bay / Minnesota beats the other on the road.

I think the best case scenario for us in the first game is 1) Minnesota, 2) GB, 3) Seattle.

The Seachickens are not a sure lock to win their playoff game. They are not the same team from 1 year ago especially the Legion of Boom playing like the Legion of Doom.

They might not be quite as good as their previous super bowl runs, but they've been there and they know how to win in tight situations. Wilson usually doesn't beat himself like he did in the super bowl last year he usually finds a way to get it done given the chance. As much as I'd like to see it, there's no way in hell the NFC East knocks the Seahawks out of the playoffs.

Best case for us is the Packers winding up in the 3 spot with Seattle in the 6th spot, but with the remaining schedules I'm thinking Seattle winds up with the 5 unfortunately.
