My two cents: Jake will and should still be our man.

The only benefit of playing Moore would be that he can progress, but how limited is the progression.

There isn't a better option to replace Jake out there.

He had a bad game, just like he did against Arizona.

If he has another one next week, then we will likely see how bad Mccown is or give Moore a chance.

Again with this. On the deep in by Moose ( COMPLETED ), Jake held the ball for SIX seconds. How many QBs have SIX seconds to complete a pass?

Ever watched the Patriots?

You are using one example to back up your flawed argument. The amount of time the O line gave him NO time to throw the ball far outweigh your one example of the one time they did.

Look I am not here to appologize for him. That is not what I am doing. I am just pointing out the simple fact that the O line sucked and they were in a large part responsible for everything that happened yesterday. I am just saying it wasn;t ALL jake.

And to the guy who said he was 5 rows back,....I am pretty sure I get a better view than you on my couch watching HD TV with in your face camera than u did. And as a matter of fact on that one particular play where Philly's guy came through untouched down the middle....No he really did not see him. You can see it clear as day during the slow motion replay, Jake had enough time to turn his head from right to left, and while his head was to the left...is exactly when the guy began touching him. He had no chance. You have a view of the entire action, as the rest of us watching the game do. The QB does not and they are also always scouting the field from left to right for open men, leaving the other sides exposed at times.

There is no excuse for how poor Jake played. There is also no excuse for letting men untouched get to your QB and there's no excuse for anyone trying to overlook that side of the argument. At least if you have any intention of having an educated, objective and unbiased discussion. If on the other hand you can't be bothered to be stopped from yelling Jake's head on a stick like the 10000 other people out there, I understand and won't waste my time nor do I blame you. I was just as upset but I have calmed down enough to look at this entire picture with a more objective approach.

Both Jake AND the O line sucked. The O line had just as much to do with it as Jake because there were times when honestly he didn't even have enough time to hand the ball over for a run play let alone throw.

And please do not use Atlanta as an example of why we can't find a QB as quickly as they do. Uhm...that kind of stuff just doesn't happen in the NFL. They got lucky with Matt. Really lucky.

Both Matt and Flaco are the exception to the rule and to think Carolina will draft a QB and be ready in time for next year is silly. Most end up like Alex Smith. Great QBs, franchise QBs aren't easy to find or train. It takes a lot of time and in a large part, luck.
