Did Anybody See Travis Kelce Dance?

God damn. Are people really this stupid?

What about all of the black skill players and defensive players that have been dancing for years? It has nothing to do with color and everything to do with the position he plays.

People feel like QBs should be held to a higher standard. I'm not saying that's right, but it has nothing to do with him being black. That's foolish.

Cam does almost the exact same first down celebration that Tom Brady has done every time he's ran for a first down in his career. How many times have you heard Brady's whined about? Yes, it is a QB thing. It's a black QB thing.

Tom Brady is allowed to celebrate his 1st down runs and rushing TDs with an emphatic first down signal and a monster spike in the end zone. Brady is allowed to scream and curse his teammates and coaches. Brady throws tantrums all the time when things do not go his way.

Aaron Rodgers is allowed to do his signature celebration of the championship belt when he runs for a first down, throws a td, or runs for a td. This has been celebrated to the extent of creating an entire advertising campaign and naming the move the discount double check. Rodgers is allowed to throw helmets and tablets on the sidelines when things do not go his way.

Cam Newton is criticized for a Superman celebration when he runs a td in. He is criticized for dabbing in the end zone when he runs the ball in. He his criticized when he signals a first down when he runs for one. He is criticized for being too happy when things are going well, he is criticized for wearing a towel on his head, and he is criticized for moping when things do not go his way.

Imagine what would happen to Cam if he were to be very angry and lash out at his teammates; If he were to aggressively curse showing extreme anger; If he ignored a coach and decided to get in his face on the sideline; If he slammed tablets to the ground; If he threw his helmet with anger on the sidelines; If he acted more like Rodgers and Brady.

Gotta admit, was never a huge fan of Flores, but after that comment he just went up a few pegs...

I've been a fan ever since I heard him do a St. Louis cardinals highlight years ago where he said something along the lines of "And in the 5th Pujols comes to the plate... and is Albert Pujols gonna have to hit a pitch? Pujols with a 3 run shot into left!"

Kelce been breaking it down for a while.  He might could challenge Tolbert.

Imagine if Cam spent all game yelling at refs and teammates like Brady did last night and lost.  Every outlet would be running a story on Cam's behavior and what it "meant" and the "impact".

Issue is simply Cam doesn't  fit in the box the modern media claims a QB should.  So they attack what is different.   They want different to fail.  Tolbert and Kelce aren't "different".  They fit the molds assigned to what we are told TEs/RBs can do.  So no one cares about them.

In Brady's defense, that game was called horribly. That was one of the most one sided games I had seen and it almost looked to me like the ref's had a vendetta against the Patriots. Not that anyone here would care as many of you will post Cheatriots or some stupid poo like that. As an objective viewer of that game, ticky tack calls were called on the Pats while blatant hooks and a few late shots on Brady were not called. (The late shots i'm fine with because he needs to be treated the same as anyone else). But also there were a lot of "stunts" the Denver defense was running that were actually holding because the defensive lineman would stunt and hold the lineman to leave the hole for the blitz. That is defensive holding as well as the mugging the receivers were getting.
