Arizona is the biggest threat to Carolina.

Scratch that.

Arizona is the only threat to Carolina.

I can agree, but our team is built to stop them.  I do think that other teams could give us fits (Peterson could take over a game by himself, and so could Rodgers if he gets hot) but only Zona presents a real legitimate challenge on our path to a superbowl.

Their corners can cover with no safety help. Cover 0 the entire game. We all saw how well Shula calls against that on Thursday against inferior talent.

They are NOT getting Hot!!!!!!

They gave up almost 500 passing yards to the Steelers and would have BEEN BLOWN OUT of that game if the Steelers secondary had decided to cover ANY WR on the field.  That was the WORST pass defense scheme I have ever seen run in an NFL game.  Seattle had WR's so open consistently that there were not defenders within 15 yards of them....they were damn near catching punts on many of those plays.

Seattle WILL lose to both Arizona and Minnesota.  They are 9-7 at best.

Not only that:

Big Ben coughed the game up to them with two AWFUL INT's, when they could have put the game away. Those weren't great plays by the defense.

Plus. Wilson was allowed the same quick throw/one read offensive scheme he usually excels in, cause the Pittsburgh blitzed him all game. Even on the last TD off the slant throw, the receiver said he asked Russell to throw it to him, and he did. NO scanning the defenses.

I'm not saying Seattle can't get hot. But I looked at that game as a continuation of their struggles. Wilson's not gonna have another game like that again, especially with Graham gone and if the defenses rushes 4 with good coverage downfield.

Wilson played really well the past two games.  That's whats driving Seattle forward.  Got to give him and them credit for that.  The question is how long will it last?  Thankfully, our team has the ability to cover up weaknesses in other areas, but could Seattle's defense win a 6-3 game for them this year?  In years past, absolutely, but not this year.

I think that AZ is better than Seattle.  Playoff seeding with be very interesting.  I saw one where we could get an NFC East team in Divisional Round assuming we were the 1 seed.

New weighted DVOA rankings confirm Seattle is the 2nd best team in the NFC, and coming on hot enough to be considered a near conflip game on a neutral field vs us:

The fact that you are quoting DVOA to prove anything means that you truly are clueless.  That metric is terrible.
