this thread is five pages of fail.

Srsly. This is one of the worst threads I've ever endured on this or any site.

we're 11-0 and we are very familiar with the rest of the teams remaining on our schedule...including who we may or may not play in the playoffs.

The great thing is that our Panthers still have plenty of things they still need to work on before firing on all-cylinders, hoping every player on our roster is healthy and ready to go deep in the playoffs.

Seattle loss + Atlanta/Tampa loss = Panthers clinch a PLAYOFF spot today. As in they could lose out the rest of the season and still be garaunteed to at least be a wild card.

Keep up, chuckles.

Yes that helps us clinch, but is still has no bearing on us winning the division, which is what the poster asked.....who looks like a chuckles now.

All I know is that I'm pulling against Seattle. I don't want Wilson and his lucky bombs in the damn playoffs.

The problem is even if the Seahawks lose 2 more games against the Steelers and Cardinals, they can be 9-7. The only way the Seahawks don't make the playoffs is if they go 3-3 the last 6 games, which would mean losing to the Vikings as well (very possible). Either the Packers or Vikings (whichever team doesn't win the division) will get one of those wildcard spots. Who do you see beating Seattle for a wildcard spot? I kind of wish Atlanta wasn't free-falling like they are now because they would have easily prevented Seattle from making the playoffs with a 11-5 record. It's possible Tampa could continue their hot streak and edge a 9-7 Seattle team for the sixth wildcard spot if they finish 10-6 with their only remaining loss to us.

Actually, we need both Atlanta and Tampa to lose this week, then Atlanta to lose TO Tampa next week. If those things happen, and we beat New Orleans, we win the Division.

We actually want the Seahawks to win because that increases our SOS and SOV.

Yes, fug the Patriots so go broncos.

Yes, alittle cushion on AZ would be nice right now so go 49ers.

Giants @ Skins doesn't matter, since we play both of them.

Rams @ Bengals... Doesn't really matter. But I want the Rams to win so they can push TB or ATL out of the wild card race.

Saints @ Texans: fug the saints. But it would help our SOS (and possibly SOV) more if the Saints win.

Dolphins @ Jets: doesn't matter.

Chargers @ Jags: Jags win helps our SOS/SOV

Raiders @ Titans: Titans for SOS/SOV

Ravens @ Browns: doesnt matter.

I just cannot pull for the Hawks at all.  Besides, if there is one team that scares me, it's Seattle.  I don't want them sneaking in as the 6 seed and wind up playing us in Charlotte in round 2.  No one else in the NFC scares me as much as they do.
