Since we make fun of opposing fans for their simplistic ways for gameplanning against us, how would YOU do it?

I know the answer however I refuse to tell how to exploit our team. I will say this, you will have to disguise your coverage and change it with less than 5 on the play clock. This is one type of coverage that would limit what we can do, it has been used against this year. It is the audibles that make this team so effective, that's why you show pass, let Cam audible to run, then audible to run coverage with less than 5 sec on the play clock. It is a guessing game but you must change coverage pre-snap. Let us never speak of this again.

Heavy d-line rotation, periodic stunts, man coverage with corners close to the receivers, jamming, a safety deep, the other a roamer who we're never quite sure where he's going to be.  I don't know that I'd even bother doubling Olsen since the run is just as much of a liability, so the safeties would have to be mindful of both.  Keep everything in front of you, make the Panthers do nothing but 3 to 4 to 5 yard plays at a time, don't allow anything deep, and hope for third and longs where you'd do zone blitzes, more stunts, the odd blitz.  The safeties and linebackers would also have to be mindful of spying Cam and then of course you're scared about Brown and Ginn's speed.

Offensively, much the same idea...west coast offense by and large, deep shots if and only if they're there, do not by any means throw into windows where the pass isn't there, and typically the middle of the line of scrimmage is open due to zone deficiencies in McD's gameplan.  I'd only go after Norman with bump and go routes, things that make him pause a step or two, things that make him have to hesitate just a hitch.  By and large, as others have said though, you'd have to throw away from him and Coleman.  Obviously as a Cats guy I'm hoping we play Boston more as the playoffs happen...

The biggest offensive key would be avoiding turnovers and third and longs.  Don't let the pass rush wake up.  The offensive bread and butter would have to be using the speediest rbs you have, counters, maybe a couple sweeps though that usually doesn't work very well.  Theoretically a few draws might work...

On defense, play cover 2 and take away the deep ball. Force us to run and try to survive on dink and dunk. When teams stack the box and play single high man free or cover 3 it plays right into our hands and we just go deep. Mix in some double A gap blitzes to disrupt Cam up the middle with DEs contain rushing. He struggles way more on up the middle pressure than outside pressure because outside pressure usually creates a big lane for him to run into. Bend but don't break defense to force us to sustain long drives is the key. We will kill you on chunk plays if you give us the chance.

On offense, the run game needs to be heavily cut back oriented. Occasionally you can catch Luke on an over pursuit and get huge yards with a cut back. Running sweeps is an awful idea. Luke and TD have that on lock. In the passing game, play 3 wide and attack with the slot WR. If you can get your WR1 in the slot and not matched up on Josh then that's a bonus. Underneath routes with slants and crosses are key. Trying to beat us deep on the outside is usually a failed strategy. Seam routes from the TE can work really well if you stay away from Luke as he plays that route better than anyone. Exploiting Roman and our slot CB in one on one match ups will get the passing game going.

Its not a foolproof strategy by any means as it still requires amazing talent and execution, but I feel like this would give a team the best chance to beat us without relying on us to play awful or have a bunch of turnovers.

The reason I made fun of people giving simplistic answers to stopping us is because the answer isn't simple. No one scheme or simple philosophy will work all game. Since Cam makes his reads at the line you confuse him by changing looks and schemes right before the snap. You look like you are going to blitz and drop into coverage. You do a lot of delayed blitzes and run blitz frequently. And so on. You have to mix things up and not be predictable using a mixture of zone coverages and man looks. It isn't simple and it won't be doing one thing but switching things up and being unpredictable.

Honestly I think I would to a lot of three and even four wide sets and attack Harper and Jones

Defensively I would try to avoid big plays and be content with us making long marches up and down the field, just hope you can hold to FGs.

On special teams I would aggresively go for blocks and put pressure on our kick coverage team when given the chance.  Last time we lost a regular season game this is how it was done.
