Is Kalil 100%?

He just seems like he's been off a little bit recently. Last night he didn't snap the ball twice when Cam wanted it. He also got beat terribly in our own territory resulting in a sack. That isn't the first time either. I am just wondering if anyone else has noticed and if he's at 100 atm.

I did find it odd that we seemed to regress back to the days of Cam's panic clapping and barely getting snaps off.   It was odd considering what we have been doing.

as far as his health, we are 11 games in and he has missed time with injury.  Once someone misses a game with an injury I think it takes a long time for them to really be 100%.  NFL is just too brutal to recover given what is asked of you.

Another thing I noticed is it seems Kalil has been caught for more holding penalties than are the norm for him....that makes me think maybe that ankle is hurting as he has to resort to more holding to try to make up for getting beat

Let's be real: no NFL player is 100% after 11-12 weeks. So, to answer your question, no I don't think he's 100% but I don't think that's cause for concern. We see things like 2 delay of game penalties, but sometimes we don't see that there is a system. On both of those delays, Kalil was changing the protection because of something the Cowboys did that our OL needed to be aware of. That's smart by the Cowboys for doing it so late in the play clock and that's what a veteran center does, make checks get the play right. I'd rather take a 5 yard loss and not get your QB killed rather than just snap the ball and hope we have it blocked. The holds, I attribute to offensive linemen being offensive lineman. Ask any lineman who's retired or out of the league (because the one's playing now won't incriminate themselves), they hold EVERY play they can.

I'm not worried about Kalil at all. The fellas have 10 days before they play again. They'll get treatment and rest which is what they need. This week-to-week mentality has really helped them survive and now their focus will be to heal and rest. Then they'll focus on the Saints.
