He always showed up for games tho even if sacks were not there, pressure was. Beast in run support and always gave super effort and made every player on our dline better with his ferocity.

 

I dont like like this downplaying of hardy now that he is gone. He is an absolutely terrific player on the field

You pretty much described every elite DE in the league. Majority of all good players stats come  against mediocre teams.

He deserved a second chance glad he got it, he should still be here but i'm glad to see our players not quick to disown him like many

There's good and bad in every one of us. Unfortunately the bad in Hardy has been exposed publicly a few times and he's been labeled as a bad guy. His former Panther teammates, just like a lot of his current ones with Dallas, know that he can also be a good guy. Hopefully he's able to learn from his mistakes and become more of a good guy in the future.

Really, no one should be surprised at the friendly greetings at the game yesterday, and as Panther fans, none of us should be either happy or mad that he's no longer with the team. We should just be sad for everyone who's been affected and hope that the bad that happened doesn't end up defining his career and him as a person.

bruce jenner literally ran over an old lady and is still considered a modern american hero. why not give hardy a second chance here next year

I can't even begin to fathom how good our defense would be with a motivated Hardy at DE.

I'm not downplaying Hardy, I'm just not a Hardy homer. He is a really good player, but he isn't great i.e. JJ Watt or Luke's level.

OK, so everyone agrees, this brings the closure needed to move on.

Read an article this morning where Hardy praised the team, and said as long as these guys stay together, they'll continue to win. 

After reading that, I really felt bad. I know he messed up, but Hardy should be on this team. Maybe one day, he'll be able to come back. I do think he misses Carolina, and we the environment he was in over here is much better for him than over there in Dallas.

Who knows what would have happened if he had stayed here and that mess hadn't happened. Can't look at a player in a vacuum. Hardy was trending up and was/is young. A year away from football wasn't good for his development.

 

im not a hardy homer, kind of a dismissive way to brush aside a reasonable response I had.

I hope hardy's situation serves as a great lesson to all the fellas in the NFL.. stay away from the crazy ass chicks!
