Phil Sims All-Iron Awards

The end of a B/R article about the game had this to say about the All Iron awards.  It's a very true comment - how appropriate that they didn't just pick one MVP, but picked four players who truly exemplified the TEAM win.

Kuechly wound up with sharing the game's All-Iron Award with Coleman, Newton and receiver Jerricho Cotchery, who had five receptions and led all receivers with 73 yards.

The honor is bestowed upon the game's MVP every year by CBS broadcaster Phil Simms, but the Panthers' collective success moved Simms to reward Carolina as more of a team. It was appropriate for the Panthers' achievements to date and for their exceptional Thanksgiving performance.

I know kickers don't get love, but for such a stupid "award," I think Graham should have been at the table.  If sports are about beating the other team by having more points than them, then Gano contributed more to the win than anyone up there.
