Every team has a weak spot somewhere no one is invincible. Besides the plays he got beat he also made very good tackles today. Not worried about Colin jones at all

Cowboys passed for 199 yards, mostly in garbage time.

I think the Panthers had more INT return yards than Romo passed for.

Also if you are Dallas, where the heck else are you going to attack our defense?  The middle with Luke, TD and Kurt?  How'd that work out?  People were predicting colin would get beat so bad it could be game changing, not in the slightest.

 

Covering a decent/good little slot receiver is not easy. Expecting your third best corner to excel at the job is asking a lot if you ask me. Colin did what was expected from him. Stay close, and don't let the play get away from you. For what we needed to get done, he did his job. No big plays, and tackle well. Yup, Colin got nothing but love comin'.

 

All in all, he played well. He defiantly doesn't deserve some of the grief he is getting.

I know it says I may not have been apart of carolina huddle for a while, but don't let that fool you, I have been looking at post for the last 5 years. Some of you all are so quick to go up in arms about anything and that sucks. We are undefeated and we talking about one player who was matched up against a quick WR. GET OUT OF HERE! We 11-0 and look like the best undefeated team

Colin Jones is a good player and a very vital part of our team.  He isn't the number #1 nickel corner.   Yeah he got burned a couple times but he also was in on some pretty good plays as well.

Would you rather have someone else filling in?

Exactly, not a bad problem to have!  The guys a 3rd string safety for crying out loud, and honestly his play was not that bad. Other that the on TD drive that we let the boys have (6 minutes off the clock was more important than 6 points on the board at that point) only 1 play stands out where he was badly beaten. Dez toasted him for an easy TD if Luke hadn't broken it up. Some of these posters go out of their way to find something to bitch about!
