Haha, this isn't your pee wee church league. This is pro football. This is where you play to win.

What the Eagles did today? That's how you take care of a lead. The Eagles coaching staff did an excellent job today.

:cheers2: my thoughts exactly. rip the jugular out. curb-stomp 'em. never stop. i guarentee no one is gonna say phillys weak now. wish we played with that intensity

Anyone else feel Andy Reid acted and coached with total disregard for sportsmanship and class today? I'm all for a team putting your foot on someone's throat when you're up and crushing them, but he went way overboard. I felt like he had a personal dislike for us. I don't know if it's that he's still bitter about '03 or what. But I was pissed.

I think that the stadium ran out of Krispy Kreme at half time and he was pissed.

waaaah waaaaaah they shouldve taken it easy on us.

man the fug up and blame your defense for not stopping them. i have no problem with coaches keeping the pedal to the floor all 60 mins of a football game. no matter the score.

I bet they wish they had throttled back a little after McNabb got hurt.

Nah C0r, I always man up. And with that, I'm not putting ANY of that game on our defense. Maybe the 1st drive, but beyond that, no. It was all on our offense. The defense played pretty much the whole game, and was trying to stop you guys starting at our 9 yard line.

I'm saying we had handed you the win. It wouldn't have been going easy on us. There was no way we were coming back and the offense was still going for it on 4th downs.

I don't knock the defense for still going balls to the wall the entire game, b/c that maintains your intensity and sets the tone. Honestly man, you really cared about getting another TD after being up by 28?

Anytime any team I've ever pulled for has been up by tons, it usually got to a point where I could care less if they scored any more, kind of like "okay, that's good enough for me." To me, you guys reached that point very early on, lol. We were horrible. And the defense had no chance with the position our offense put them in.

yeah i have to say if you are on defense.. and the ball ends up in your hands.. you run... and dodge.. and if you get a TD.. then you do.. you dont go eh... i'll take 5 yards and lay down..

I dont expect the Panthers to 'take it easy on anyone.. ' and so i cant expect them to do the anything less then their best against us..

If they want to rest some of their big players.. hey.. thats strategy.. but to not score when they can.. as much as i hated the game.. i cant say id ever wish that from/to any team.

idk. i have only watched the first half of the game so far. i was working and DVRd it and just saw the Celek TD so i'm going through it right now.

i just think in the beginning of the season, you go out there and do as much as you can to set a tone and build momentum. but thats just me.

you're right... But, my point was, as you'll see watching the game over - that tone was set and established VERY early on. LOL

I felt like even before halftime that if we had pulled Jake and put Johnny Unitas in that mf'er that we still couldn't have came back b/c the life had been sucked out of the team.
