PF has taken his Marvel troll game to a weird level...

Was that the guy a few weeks ago that bashed the climax fight because it was at an airport? The same fight scene which is now being lauded as the best ever in a comic movie.

The thing people have to realize is, that fight, everyone was pulling their punches and not going for kill blows really.   Because in truth Vision and Wanda would decimate any of those people in mere seconds if they wanted to.

That's part of what made it so great to me.

"I thought that was a water truck!"

Spoilerrrrr

Also, freaking Giant-Man??? And Vs Spiderman???? Incredible. Everything about that fight was perfect.

It was completely ridiculous and contrived.

  • Why didn't the Government and Tony Stark care about Hawkeye who was also brainwashed and killed innocents?
  • Why didn't the government care about Tony Stark who has killed countless people?
  • The entire big fight scene dumb
  • Antman, Spiderman, and Hawkeye literally show up out of nowhere
  • Tony sees a youtube video and somehow figures out who spiderman really is
  • Zemo just happens to kill a superheros father, the odds of that has to be slim
  • Why would Crossbones kill himself?
  • Why would Antman risk dying for a man he has never met?
  • Why paralyze War Machine if you're just going to make him walk again 20 minutes later?
  • Why would Tony Stark be chosen to lead the government avengers thing when Tony was the one who has caused more collateral damage than anyone?
  • Steve was right, but came off as mean and angry the entire time. Tony was wrong but was much more likable.
  • Where is Pepper Pots?
  • Baron Zemo somehow constructs the entire conflict lol
  • Tony being completely fine with the government throwing all of his buddies in prison cells
  • The fights were essentially pointless. Nothing changed in the end.

It was pretty much just a big dumb movie that only exists to see the marvel heroes fight each other, even that ends up being sort of lame though. I never really believed that anyone besides Steve, Tony, Bucky, and Black Panther would actually have motivation to fight. I would give it like a C rating, not a horrible waste of time, but nothing spectacular either. The masses are sure to eat it up and think it's amazing though.

Come on PF. Half your "complaints" are ticky-tacky bs and the other half are completely unfounded. You didn't need to create an alt account to trash a movie we all knew you were going to try to trash anyways.

I'm just nitpicking Civil War like everyone did Batman v. Superman :)

Lmao no. BvS had legit thematic, and structural problems to it. No one liked BvS. You make an alt account to trash a movie you declared MONTHS ago was going to be trash. You are the most bias person when it comes to this stuff and it's just sad and funny how hard you are hating on a universally loved movie especially when your complaints don't even make sense as they are real things. Baron zemo didn't kill Starks parents. The winter soldier did. Zemo just showed them the video. You would have saw that if you were to busy hating for no reason

Just got home from seeing it. Damn good movie, and all the "new" characters fit nicely. Black Panther was great, and Spider-Man stole every scene he was in. Really like the casting for both.

A couple of wonky things at the end that may explain themselves in due time...but it's set up Avengers 3 pretty nicely. Vision will be at the compound, Infinity Gem in his head, it gets taken, Stark calls Captain for help, yada yada here comes a team of 30 super heroes against Thanos and Co.

    • Super raw, not sure he is worth a top 10 pick.  Primary a pass rusher.  A bit like Burns, very fast athletic but doesnt always follow the play.  His highlights look good but when you watch him play you can see he is just raw and needs to develop
    • Personally, I am not sold on Bryce yet--and I do not think anyone is saying they are, but I don't think Ward is on table when we draft anyway.  Not even sure if I would rather have him than one of the later QBs.  I see a lot of potential in Allar, Nussmeire, Rourke, and even Hamilton from Ohio State--Milroe is intriguing, but I am not sure he is an NFL QB.  Ewers is that sleeper who falls and becomes a solid starter. I think that we sign a veteran who has played and we draft one of these project QBs. To your point:  With that in mind, I think you have to take QB off the table in round 1, and if Bryce can string 4-5 games like KC together, we still need to draft a QB in round three or so---I really think Rourke is a great fit for this offense--he is accurate and gets the ball out quickly---he impressed me vs OSU.   Reason?  I think we may have a tough decision to make about Bryce in 2 years--will he be worth $60m?  That decision is a lot easier if you have been grooming a backup for 2 years who can play. In round 1: I am hoping for PSU's edge Abdul Carter In round 2:  I would like to see us grab a DT who can rush the passer.  Walter Nolen of Ole Miss is versatile and a bit raw. I think he could be an excellent complement to Brown. In round 3:  I would love ILB Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma.  He is a beast. With 11 picks, I would package our 4th rounders to move up into the third round and take a QB.  At the moment, I think Rourke is trending upward and he has the skills Canales seems to want in a QB.  Quick processor, quick release. I would use the fifth rounders on OL.  I know that I left out WR--however, we are getting Thielen back, XL will be improved, Coker will be improved, and Moore has been surprisingly good.  Sanders (TE) has been more than expected in the passing game.  I think we need D more than WR, and maybe we can get a veteran WR to sign or find a hidden gem late.
    • Wouldn't be surprised if he starts a couple Jets games this year with the way the Rodgers thing is going. Giants fans are pissed they didn't keep him lol. He might actually have a little bit of a market.
