The greg hardy vs michael oher matchup

so i'm really looking forward to this. These guys have a lot of history going against each other. They always went head to head in high school and college practices. How do you guys think this match up goes? i don't see michael making some blocks and hardy making some good plays i feel like one man will dominate the other the whole game knowing each others tendencies throughout the years. Will it be like when gross faced peppers for the first time? Gross pretty much washed him out and i consider both HOF caliber players. I know peppers had a pick but yeah pickles was under center.

I suspect we give him some help.  I also think Oher continues his season of solid play.   Biggest issue likely will be if Cam tries to extend a play too long.  Dallas likely to athletic on the line for Cam to get away w/ some of his stuff.

Hardy will likely have a big day regardless of what we do. Dude is way too familiar with our offense and his opponent in Oher not to be. I expect him to be calling out all of our plays pre snap in this one.

Spoiler: We still win

I don't feel like he knows too much about our plays TBH...

I agree here. A lot has been made about how the offense is run more by Cam. Shula has said they couldn't get that installed until late last season due to all the surgeries/injuries to Newton. With Hardy having the year off, how much of that did he actually see?

I'm not sure why it seems like so many people think Hardy is so familiar with our offense.  He's not.  He'd be more familiar with opposing NFC South offenses that he was actually preparing to face twice a season while in Carolina.  The Carolina offense was the one he was least concerned with as a Panther because it was the one offense he definitely wasn't going to face on the field.

its not like he was hanging out with the team during practices or going to games. dude skipped out and went to a strip club when he first found out he was deactivated rather than staying with the team.

he's only aware of himself. he might have a solid play or two, but beyond that i'm not worried. neither greg hardy nor tony romo is going to decide this game. both will be shut down for the most part.

That's a pretty ridiculous statement considering  he played against our first team offense for like 5 years.

Four years I think.  I don't think he practiced with us last year, except perhaps in preseason.

I am not all that worried about him knowing or not knowing the playbook.  Players move around all the time, so I am sure the teams prepare for this.  Godfrey played for Atlanta last year and probably knew our plays as well as anyone, yet it did him and them no good whatsoever.  Knowing player tendencies, especially our offensive linemen might be of greater benefit.  But then the reverse is also true in that our offensive linemen know his tendencies.
