The Cowboys run much more 3 receiver sets than the Redskins so Jones will be on the field much more this week. It's hard to say how good he really is but he will be tested much more Thursday.

Not really. Jones was on the field for 85% of the snaps against Washington and Dallas ran 3 receiver sets about 60-70% of the time against Miami. Romo is better than Cousins, but Jones's primary cover, Cole Beasley, is not better than Jamison Crowder.

Colin didn't get burned by DJax's speed...he got caught looking in the backfield. Colin can run with anybody.

This. Colin stumbling at the start of the route continues to be forgotten, and the fact that nothing like it happened again tells me it was a fluke TD.

Do we think about switching it up?

keep Bene in the slot.  Norman on Dez.  Put Teddy on the outside with S help?

I would say def put Josh on Dez. Witten is worrisome, but I'm sure Luke and TD can handle him.

Yeah we're going to need Josh to stay on him even when he runs from the slot. Bene or Colin would get worked by him.

Rivera said in presser yesterday that Josh will mostly shadow Dez.  Just because he's in slot doesn't change that.

I'm more worried about Witten than Beasley.

I think Colin Jones can hold it down. As said before, had he not gotten beat on one play, at the beginning of the game, by one of the best receivers in the league, it wouldn't be a big deal.

Have faith in team depth and Gettlemagic.

Didn't help Jones slipped right when Jackson made his move.  Was likely beat regardless but the slip made it look much worse

I'll agree and offer a little more on this.

The Cowboys w/Romo LIVE for play action.  If we can shut McFadden down completely and force them to pass, Witten won't be a concern either.  He becomes a big threat when our LBs are biting on the PA fake and can't recover in time.
