Week 12 Power Rankings

This is the power rankings not the legacy rankings.

I might agree if the legacy was from 10 years or more ago.  But the Patriots won the Superbowl last year with pretty much the same team they have now.  They will be number one in the rankings until someone beats them.  Preferably us in the Superbowl in the first SB battle of unbeatens.

Not that I really care that much anyway.  These polls are interesting to discuss on message boards, but beyond that, they are meaningless.

I don't care where we are in the power ranking- i really don't.. I just care if we are the #1 seed in the NFC. Once that is locked down- you can start your petty arguments.

Bye the way- I don't really think the Pats have much on us right now. I'm more concerned with the Cards than the Pats. But TBH, I am most concerned with Dallas right now. Can't drop this game and give the rest of the NFC any hope

I wonder if the huddle will feel this way when every analyst in the playoffs picks teams with worse records to reach the superbowl over usl

If you CARE what the analyst think, then you are an idiot.

I really feel like in order for Cam to get the MVP, we HAVE to go undefeated in the regular season...

And I fully expect us to drop 3 spots in the rankings should we lose a game.

The things we have to complain about are just getting awesomer and awesomer.

And I'm actually fine with it.

I think if we lose a game, the only team they will drop us under is Arizona. Seems like the media has already crowned them. But until they actually hand out Lombardi trophies for power rankings, none of us should care

But, be sure to read the write up for the Number 1 ranked Patriots as well.

Outside of "reigning super bowl champs", the entire thing is just an explanation why the Panthers aren't #1, not why the Patriots are. Interesting, eh?

i think it just addresses everyones short memory. i have no problem with that, and at the end of the day, these power rankings have no relevance about what our team can do when the playoffs get here. nobody has to respect the Panthers, they just have to go out there and do there thing.

Why isn't there a question?  Their offense looks worse as they continue to lose pieces, now possibly Amendola.  There's absolutely a case for us as #1

They lost Edelman and Amendola? Excuse me I think I have internal bleeding from laughing. At Brady not for guys being hurt

This hurt the guy at walterfootball to write more than any of us can understand.

http://walterfootball.com/nflpowerrankings.php

1.

panthersb_logo.gif Carolina Panthers (10-0) - Previously: #2 - The Panthers just might be the best team in the league. Everyone keeps doubting them - even the sharps, who constantly pick the other team. Yet, all Carolina does is win, all while covering the spread for good measure.

Having said that, Cam Newton should be ashamed of himself. Not because of the dancing - I don't really care about that - but I think it's horrible how he always gives footballs to kids in the stands. I think he and the Panthers are discriminating against the fat guy football memorabilia collector group that I fall under. Us fat guys who collect memorabilia want footballs as well, yet it's just the kids who get them. This is utter bulls***. What have kids ever accomplished? They suck. Us fat guys who collect memorabilia deserve our footballs, so I am outraged at Newton and the Panthers.

2.

patriotsb_logo.gif New England Patriots (10-0) - Previously: #1 - I have to move the Patriots down. There are just way too many injuries. Dion Lewis and Julian Edelman were already gone, and now Danny Amendola and Aaron Dobson are hurt as well. Meanwhile, the offensive line is an abomination. I think what we saw Monday night is a sign of things to come against tougher opponents

panthers should without a doubt be number 1.  panthers are only getting better and the patriots are getting weaker.

put it like this.  if carolina and the pats were to play right now.  it is my opinion that carolina would win.  and not just because im a carolina fan, i just dont think the patriots can keep going.  which is unfortunate because 2 undefeated superbowl teams was my all time favorite fantasy.

I enjoyed the comment by walterfootball in regards to the 49ers.

30. 49ersb_logo.gif San Francisco 49ers (3-7) - Previously: #28 - It's time for the Colin Kaepernick Meme of the Week! Despite reports that Kaepernick underwent surgery to repair his broken vag, he was spotted warming up on the field prior to the Seattle game:
