This may be the first time the entire nation gets to see the Panthers. Nothing bigger during the regular season then a 4:30 Thanksgiving day game for most football fans. Maybe the Seattle or Greenbay games where bigger for Panther fans, but a show case game like this will show everyone what we have. Whats the final score and who shows out....let's hear it.

::::Sigh:::: Cowboys win this one, I am and have been for a good while on "the fix is in" bandwagon when it comes to this game. I want to be wrong so bad but the writing is on the wall.

...

The writing was on the wall for you that ATL would win this division.

Take a look at the standings, and tell me why we should consider what you say as valid?

I don't see either defense changing and the big D is 13th in the league. We beaten better defenses in Seattle/TN on the road and HOU at home. So I see no reason why we can't we can't run on the #15 rushing defense in TX.

if we run well and Cam enjoys the limelight and we put up our ave 30 pts, I don't see our defense allowing more than 20 pts. In fact, I think we punish Romo and he has brain freeze at the half. We get two turnovers in the second half and walk away with a convincing win and a turkey leg...

Panthers 32 Dallas 17

Without the disrespect in vegas

24-17 panthers

With us being pissed the fug off

38-10 panthers.  We will leave no doubt.

Also, to add one point, I know people are thinking the refs will be all over the cowgirls jocks, and it's possible, BUT, if you consider this would put a "good light" on one of the black eyes (greg hardy)of the NFL on National TV, you gotta believe they won't be bias.  No ref favortism will equal a blowout in the good guys favor.

    • Too late to edit above but the quote is from this Diane Russini article in the Athletic: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5941684/2024/11/23/russinis-what-im-hearing-the-day-the-jets-fell-apart-and-the-broncos-rallied-belichick-best-fits/ Okay.. there you have sorry I left that out the first post.  Also waivers keep the contract intact. That is the major difference in released and waived. It's all in that link from the other post.
    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
