It makes little difference who the QB is if that's the way the O-line is going to block this year.

Having said that, I believe Moore should get a shot if Delhomme struggles two weeks in a row.

I've been saying for a while I wish we had gone into TC with it:

1. Moore

2. Jake

3. Scrub (Cantwell, in this case).

I was ok with reversing #1 and 2 here, until yesterday. It just showed me that Jake is done as a starter. I still think he'd be a great backup to help moore, like Peete did for him in 03. The questions though would be -- 1. Is he willing to re-renegotiate his contract to reflect a backup status and compensation, and --2. Would he be willing to relinquish control of this team and help usher in the next regime? (again, like Peete did so well and stayed classy doing so).

I dunno.. that's an awful lot to ask of Jake. But I'm hoping it pans out this way.
