Well, we have a stubborn coach. but i still like how he handles it. Yea it puts the qb's in bad situations coming in, but it really does show that he has faith in his starter. In my opinion, the o-line really made things worse. It seemed like we got sacked every drive. On a positive note, Matt Moore looked good coming off the bench except for the pick. That first pass that got called for holding was beautiful. If, If, IF, IF, IF, jake doesnt do good vs atl, i would hope that the coaches are smart enough to put Moore in. McCown looked terrible, and in my opinion shouldnt be on this team. This may sound bad, but i was sooooo happy when he got hurt. Not wishing injuries on anyone, but moore really is better. Back to the stubborn coach thing. Imagine if Jake was still in the game when McCown took that low hit in the legs...... 07 all over again.

F*ck McClown. I hope he's injured for the year AND we cut his ass. Injuries are the only way Fox will make a move for another QB. Keep Moore, bench Jake, trade/sign for another guy. I think Moore's got promise and looks the best out of our stable, but funny how he's the "emergency QB."

moore because he is just better.....remember a few yrs ago when jake was hurt and we put in moore in like the last 4 games of the season and we came to life and played good? Thats what we need this year....we need some new life and Moore can bring that to us!

I am with ya 120% Only hoping it would have been career ending so we wouldnt have to worry about trying to figure a way out to trade him.(Sorry Jake, nothing personal. You have done been paid for 6 years of football that you arent worth.)

    • No one is asking him to be Tom Brady. They're just asking him to be as good if not better than Cooper Rush, Jimmy Garoppolo and Carson Wentz. We'd like Young to be better than Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield, but we're not even asking for that. No matter how you cut it he's going to be considered a bust for what was given up for him. He should be outpacing Cam Newton, Jake Delhomme and Kerry Collins game for game in their careers. He should at least be challenging the clutch level of Brady, Mahomes, Stafford, Goff, Garoppolo, Burrow, Hurts and Purdy. Remember that's based on the draft capital given up for Young, and not the extremely low bar Young has actually set for himself.
    • Even if you cherry pick Bryce post benching and ignore everything else and project it out over a full season….. there is no statistical  argument Kyler has ever been worse.   I’m no Murray fan as I agree he is more athlete than QB.   And I’m open to Bryce improving and support us continuing to develop him as this point.
    • We need LBs--build the roster from the bottom up.  On offense, we have Coker who has been huge...if you fill your weaknesse without having to use free agent $$$ or draft picks--win win.
