What adjustments....

I'm not trying to turn this into another negative thread. Regardless of how ugly it was, how utterly and embarassingly piss poor this teams performance was from 1 to 4:30 p.m. today, it is still just the first game of sixteen.

So, without the crazed "Fire the coaches!" or "Decapitate Delhomme!" sentiments, what needs to change between now and next sunday?

Seriously...what you told us not to say... thats all it is to it

I can complain where is our TE. Thats starts with Jake not being able to handle pressure nor throw accurately, nor see the whole field. The coaching staff doesn't trust him, so more conservativeness. Our o-line trippin

Ironic, you dont hear ANYONE talking about the D. Thats how bad it is

Change up playcalling, bench Delhomme, more TE play....those are "adjustments".

Rebuilding the coaching staff or causing a major player trade at this point in the season would be the point of "hysteria"

I was just about to start a thread and ask what adjusments or new wrinkles were added.

Screen passes. For the love of Tommy Vardell, use DWill and Jstew out of the backfield. Ok so they are great rb's..well, get them out in space.

Don't bother with the wildcat and line Jake out wide. Useless formation. Put Dwill in there and do a reverse pass like what the Dolphins did.

Sit Jarrett's listless butt down. Bring in Moore.

Run reverses, end arounds whatever and let SS get his hands on the ball.

At least make Philly adjust some.

On D. Wow. Hmm. You have a banged up Philly line and there are no sacks? What was the doctor's name in Columbia?

Zone blitz. That formation causes more disruption. But if you go mano a mano like the Panthers do and your guys simply don't have the push? Well, you get manhandled.

As for Jake. About 5 times the way he moved up just prior to the snap showed me bad body language and comfort back there.

See screens for building his confidence.

Stop sending poor Moose 50 yds downfield, gassing him and he can't do anything the next 3 plays.

Good points all around, but I would add in making sure that the opposing TE is covered. Celek accounted for a fair share of Philly offense today and considering he isn't the best we will be facing this year....

It's been a hole for years but its the easiest thing to fix right now on a laundry list of problems.

I like all of this...... We need to show our team how to win again cause the def know how to lose......

You were down 2 Td's and what few runs they tried were getting stopped

Eagles Adjusted

Panthers did not

No doubts, the run wasn't scoring any after that first drive and the adjustment should have been made accordingly. But it did get us to two goal line stands, albeit only to settle for a FG for one and a turnover on downs on the other.
