Local paper hating on Cam

s     Sorry, I took the bait. Just annoyed that a local paper would do this. TLDR warning. Here is the cliff notes version: "Fugg you self loathing, lying benedict Arnold"

Let’s dissect your drivel here

Cam wore jersey #2 in College. When he was drafted by the Panthers,
Jimmy Clausen would not give up his #2 Jersey, so Cam wore #1. The explanation
is that simple. It is just a # unless you are someone with an inferiority
complex looking to get offended by something. Were you offended when Warren Moon
wore #1? What about John Carney, Connor Barth, Jason Elam, Jeff George or Martin
Gramatica? Most of these guys are kickers by the way. But kickers don’t fit the
whole mold of arrogant thug angle you are trying to work. Jeff George was
actually a jerk, but I digress.

You said "Now, I usually appreciate imaginative end zone celebrations, but
Superman?”...

No you don’t. Cut the bull-crap and what I just said about inferiority complex. It is just a celebration. Cam was celebrating away from the pile of bodies, and then the Titans LB walked about 5-10 yards to get in his face. You may have more credibility if you write about how you are losing sleep over
the fact that the clouds that are getting in the way of your view of the blue sky.

As far as Cam ripping down that sign by the packers fan. If you wanna get
technical, it is against stadium policy so Cam did nothing wrong. The end!
However, I am emotionally obligated to get subjective here and become a football
fan for a second. I have rooted for this team since 1996. To give you a
football perspective, we have traditionally been doormats as far as getting no
respect in our home turf. I loved that Cam ripped that banner down.

As a panther fan, my only regret is that he didn't stomp on that sign desecrating the beautiful states of North and South Carolina with green and yellow fecal matter. You know your fans are too nice when the franchise QB is the one protecting the turf. If that packer fan tried that stuff in Philadelphia or Oakland, losing a sign will probably be the least of his
worries. That kind of stuff happens nowhere else, and we need to make sure it
doesn’t happen on our turf. This is not ballet or powder puff. This is the NFL
buddy.

I got nothing to say about that Rosemary I-shall- concoct-a-fake-outrage-in-the-name-of-my
probably-embarrassed-kid Plorin. She has been ripped a new pooper by NFL fans
that don't even care about the Panthers as well as professional journalists for
the past week. You probably don't know anything about what professional
journalist means or entails. It means reporting based on facts. Speaking of
facts, there was no so called pelvic thrust during Cam's dance if you saw his
celebration against the Titans. If you do not understand what a Pelvic thrust
is, Google "Carlson Palmer". Google is probably a good start for
someone like you who seems like a novice in the whole fact finding business. I
will bet money on the fact that you will probably never write a hit-piece like
this garbage about Carlson Palmer’s “Pelvic thrust” (I personally enjoyed it as
arrogant bandwagon Seahawk fans deserved every bit of it).

Again, I am a panther fan. I also happen to be an educated adult. I am not 4,
and I know Cam is not superman
. However, you sir, in a laughable effort to strengthen
your Cam hit-piece, tried to make an irrelevant point about how Brady has more
intellect than Cam, hence unintentionally recognizing Cam’s “superman like
skills”.

You clearly have not seen Brady on the sidelines and your article is pure comedy at this point, but let’s address the issue of intellect when it comes to playing football. I’ll simplify it for you again. You don’t need to be a Rhode’s scholar to play QB in the NFL. Cam has won as a QB at every level: Pop warner, Junior College, Auburn and he is on his way to an MVP
season and has a good chance to help the Panthers win their first Super Bowl. When
it comes to playing QB in the NFL, Cam Newton has all the tools that Brady has,
and then some. The Smartest QB in the NFL if I am not mistaken is Ryan
Fitzpatrick, but he is average at best as a QB. But I get it. Facts get in the
way of your winner-but-loser thug narrative regarding Cam. Excuse me.

Then we have Karma. Again, this is a football game we are talking about right? Just checking. If so, let me break this to you. Cam is not taunting anyone. People choose to get off on his celebration to get their motivation to play harder, sleep at night, add ammo to their dogmas etc.… power to them. If Cam is helping you write a few articles like this and pay
your mortgage, by all means hit away. I get it. He will probably buy you a
house if you ask him. I am just saying, give it a shot. Write an article titled
“Cam, please buy me a bigger house” and see what happens. He is a very generous
man from what I read about his charity work.

Oops, I digress again.

What I am saying is that Cam newton is a football player, and not your traditional hapless QB that’s a sitting target being babied by the referees. He is as big as most DEs and faster than most LBs. The game is changing. The times are changing. We have Lebron James playing QB in the NFL and will dominate the league, and you won’t be able to do jack about it. This is a special time to be a Panther fan. I look forward to your to your Cam is a loser article when he wins the Super bowl. Actually, I don’t. There is a good chance I won’t remember you 10 minutes from now.
