There's no good day to have a bad day, but it's certainly not in the season opener at home while the owner with extraordinary expectations looks on with the former NFL commissioner by his side. p/ On the embarrassment scale, Carolina's 38-10 drubbing by Philadelphia at Bank of America Stadium Sunday was of epic proportions. It was easily the most convincing opening day loss in the franchise's 15-year history, doubling the 14-point margins of defeat in 1997 and 2006.
