Funchess is going to be a force in the 2nd half.

I think he is going to start to make a difference for us.  He as done a great job the last two games.

That play on the sidelines reminded me of KB.

Kept believing in him. Something I saw in preseason told me he was gonna be a contributor not kb level but gonna have to make the other teams respect him when he is on the field. He is just getting warmed up for the playoff run.

We keep this defense intact and put KB back in the line up.  We could start the season as the team to beat.

One thing I notice watching Funchess.  Ricky Proehl. The crispness of his routes.  Funchess is learning from the master.

Man, something is to be said about how much Funchess is targeted when he is on the field.. even before his start today. It was a matter of time.. either he clicked or he didn't. The man was getting open more often than any WR on our roster, even considering his limited chances. It was good to see that he continued getting open as a starter.

His long catch was a thing of beauty. It was KB'esque

His improvement since the Colts game has been staggering. He might already be our best receiver.

He has a long way to go. But the good thing is that he's progressing.

His route running has improved tremendously. I  noticed early on that he tended to round off his cuts, but now he's sticking that foot in the ground and making nice sharp cuts. He's also learning to play more physical to get those 50/50 balls. The arrow is pointing up, as Gettleman would say.

Funchess has improved tremendously.  He has some improving to do, but will be a force to contend with.
