Oh USAToday...

Cam has quite a few TDs that have been scored by using his arm in a throwing motion in which the ball flies through the air and is caught by what is considered by many as the worst receiving corp in the league.

I would look up our red zone receiving TD% to all these other teams but I really don't care, because last time I looked at the scoreboard, we were winning, and in each previous game, I have also noted that our score was higher than the team we were playing.

Eat a fat one and use that colorful USA Today print to make a nice rainbow on your ass.

The only people that believe this nonsense are "fans" who look at stats rather than Cam actually playing football.

Cams throwing mechanics can be unconventional at times, but the teams that have discounted his throwing ability have all gone home losers this season.

Let the hate flow.

I blame fantasy football for fans overemphasizing stats.

That article actually reminded me of an extended Colin Cowherd rant.

It follows the formula of "say a bunch of incendiary things just to get attention and rile people up while trying to sound like you at least halfway know what you're talking about (even if you really don't)".

Basically, its garbage.

I commented on Chris Chase's facebook post (https://www.facebook.com/thechrischase/posts/1233659776660444) and sent a tweet (https://twitter.com/marcuswu/status/667825655564791808). I would have commented directly on the article, but that wasn't an option (surprise surprise).

Basically, his math seems about right on the team with the best record winning the SB at 40% over the 15 years mentioned. However flipping that and saying that you have a better chance of winning the SB as a team without the best record is significantly wrong. All teams with a lower record than the best combined would comprise a 60% chance, but each of those teams individually has a much lower chance of winning the SB. The average would be 5.45% chance. He posted a national article with bogus math and very misleading statements.

I love articles like this. Imagine how pissed he will be when we become the worse 10-0/ever. The more they deride us the more I laugh when we prove them wrong again. Most folks love us or hate us. I love us. Screw the haters as we beat our opposition into the ground. Doing the dab in their face.
