What will Cam Newton do to offend someone this week?

So I don't know if you have taken a step back and reflected on just how much Cam has been talked about over various controversies this year. I mean he has handled an incredible amount of criticisms for one season.

His team was picked by many to finish last in the NFCS, dispute being the first team to win back-back division championships.

He called out Ed Holluchi over being profiled for no calls, which was one of the balliest things you can ever do as a starting QB playing for a small market team.

His stats were compared to Colin Kaperdick and people asked the question why does a QB like Cam get praise over Kap getting benched. Did ya see his W/L by chance?

Even though his team is unbeaten, many discredited his record, pinning the Panthers as the worst undefeated team, and even put many teams with losses above the Panthers.

There was the banner controversy which simply came down to a star football player doing what our pitiful stadium management couldn't do and protect BOA.

And most recently he had to deal with the saltiest fanbase ever with his TD celebration.

I mean, the NFL season is just over halfway into its season and THE man has endured so much, it's truly incredible!

If there was a Time's Man of the Year for Sports, he would win that cover in a landslide because the Media has spent so much time on him.

So who will Cam offend next?

9-0, Keep Pounding mofos!

'Adamantly and publicly defend a racial slur as the name for a sports franchise and insist it's intended to honor the group named by the slur.

Hmm no wait, somethings backwards, that's not us...

Probably he'll smile too big or something after a 1st down

"ACT LIKE YOU'VE BEEN THERE BEFORE" etc

Quarterbacking while black?

Its always something. Maybe he'll give Braylon life saving bone marrow on the sideline and they'll be offended he didn't do it sooner

I'm really not a big fan of anything you just said in this post. Sorry, but everything you just said is pretty classless.

    • Canales was brought in to fix Bryce. That was how he sold himself. He failed.  the panthers need a new qb, someone to coach him, and someone to build a defensive staff.  Canales has failed at developing a new qb. His big draft project XL is trending towards bust. His entire nfl resume before the panthers was one season as offensive coordinator on a stacked Bucs team, and being on the offensive staff when a 31 year old Geno smith finally put it all together. And he didn’t even pick his offensive coordinator. Assuming evero is gone, who’s he got in that phone to call? What low lvl porn addict evangelical from the bucs is ready to be Peter principled? There is nothing in his coaching history or his current performance that indicates he’s the person to move this team forward. Every other team knew this last cycle (panthers were only interview) and nothing has happened to change that perception   all people like you have is “well you can’t do it again it’s too soon but <random interval of time> will be different.  just pull off the bandage. There’s no reason to let this guy draft “his guy” except people wanting an excuse not to fire him after 2025.
    • Both Reich and Canales were saddled with trying to build and establish a viable scoring offense around Bryce Young. The best the offense looked this season and last season was with Andy Dalton who is also terrible but still better than Bryce Young. Which should be all anyone needs to know but still somehow there are weirdos here salivating over a ceiling of maybe on a really good day the 25th best QB in the league. We've already canned one entire staff over our first overall pick. You can fire everyone again to satisfy your need for vengeance and quickly come to the realization that your next hire will absolutely unequivocally be a downgrade yes man or you can blow up this QB room and then assess. If no progress next season then you can make changes and justifiably so.
    • Surprised this is the only post with this take.  This is like the Rhule kiss of death lol.
