Titans Report message board

It is absolutely amazing to me - The panthers have no 50 year long history to talk about, we never hang a 50 burger on anybody, our QB does not throw 65 times a game, we don't have any racy pictures of any of our players hanging at the club, we're boring to talk about as far as the media is concerned.  The sports world tries to ignore that we are even a team -

its amazing - we're 9-0 and all anyone can come up with each week talk about is some irrelevant crap like bannergate and now dancegate.

BUT -as soon as we have a bad game - then they'll talk about football.

I've come to the conclusion that I absolutely love being a Panther fan!

Why bother? You can never change the mind of a racist in full swing. It's just not worth the effort.

"It appears disingenuous to me"

aka

"I won't believe him, no matter what, based on my slanted view of his personality."

"I see a guy who stole a laptop and was more than likely involved in a scam where his father received a bunch of money in violation of NCAA rules.[...]but that alone isn't going to change my perception of him."

aka

"I believe all the crap the media shoves down my throat, not what Cam actually does in real life (charity work), or what his teammates say about him (that they love him), and you can't make me change my mind."

"I haven't seen any other QB's meet with Mac's son."

aka

"I haven't seen McNair's kid wear the jersey of the opposing team's QB yet, until now. Cam's not special, or anything, since he met with the kid, spoke a few words, and signed the #1 Jersey for him. I'm not impressed"

The rest of that paragraph is just a veiled attempt to put down Cam by saying that he's seen other white QBs do things with kids. It's a terribly thin attempt to disguise his racism. I'm one of the first people to try and steer the talk from a racist debate, mainly because they're usually fruitless, but good lord, that guy is horrible at hiding it and had a huge agenda.

Very true. Yeah, not even worth it. Dude has it stuck in his mind that Cam is the most evil human being to ever walk the Earth and nothing will ever change that perception. I almost feel sorry for him and other Cam haters. They must all live very sad lives to have so much hatred towards somebody.

"I haven't seen any other QB's meet with Mac's son.  But i'm not in Nashville so I have no idea who else has done it.  What I do see around here is Rivers doing things like that.  Just last night, I heard Tom Brady on the radio talking about a boy he recently met with.  I see tons of other players doing more meaningful stuff than this on a weekly basis.  I would be willing to bet more than 75% of the players in the league do nice things for kids and charities.  Cam meets with one kid for a few seconds on the field on his way to start a game and I'm supposed to think that's special and makes him a good guy?  LOL "

gotta be one of my favorites. Its funny cuz he was defending his right to have an opinion of things he's seen and "knows". 'At least get educated before attacking a man

as a bartender who caters to thousands of professionals annually i can profile a person the instant he or she walks into a bar.

this woman walks in, sits at a table, waves at the bar instead of coming up to order like everyone else, complains that it's too cold, asks me to turn the tv down, orders a glass of pinot grigio, takes 45 minutes to drink it, and pulls out her calculator to calculate a 15% tip, leaving $0.93 instead of just leaving a dollar and being done with it.

and she leaves unkissed mauve lipstick all over the edge of my glass and picked-through bar nuts on the table.

fug that woman

I'm guessing that glass is the only lipstick mark she has left in a very long time.

Yeah most of our fans feel that way.  All the cool possibilities with a name like the Titans and yet we have probably the dumbest logo in the entire league.

I know Colt fans refer to the Titans as "the flaming tacks" in reference to that logo.

This was an opportunity for mom to give her kid a lesson in tolerance, and explain that people aren't always going to fall within your particular approval area, and that's OK. Instead she chose to give a lesson on bias and say 'we're better people than he is'.

As for that pic, I can almost see the stick that's up her ass. After Dalton's whining about JJ Watt's comments, I think they'd make a good ginger couple.

Yeah, that lady's pic matches the letter, I'm not surprised.   She's probably the type of person that rides in the ending lane on the right trying to get in front of 2 cars for some reason and gets mad when no one lets her over and she has to wait her turn.

Anyway, that  board had some cool posters.  We need to adopt the BINK guy though and bring him over here.

It's funny because the more people hate Cam, the more seem to be liking him, and in the end it's making him even more popular and getting him more attention.  He's going to be a legend.
