You guys are absolutely right. He's had 4 bad games with interceptions (3 of which the Panthers lost) in 2 years, so bench him. Man, you guys are demanding.

Bottom line, I want the Panthers to win. I really don't care with whom. If Moore starts, I'm not going to bitch about it. If Jake starts, I'm not going to bitch about it. But I read some people calling for Tavaris Jackson. THAT I'd bitch about..unless he won.

I just think its amazing how much some people hate Jake, wishing bodily harm and wanting to have his house trashed. I'm hoping they were joking.

Jake's best asset to this team has always been that he could come in and rally the troops. He could come in down by 17 points, slap some guys on the helmet, shout in their faces and win dammit win! Today he proved he can't do that any more. Conversely, when Moore came in, I saw the best protections and the best formed pocket I had seen all day. They gave him time to make a great stike to Muhummad. They were fighting for Moore. And if Moore is the guy the men in the trenches want to fight for then he has assumed Jake's mantle and should take over the role of field general. And you can't have a better backup/lockerroom presence/teacher than Jake Delhomme.

They went after Jake ALL day as well.

People need to get over the "hate-Jake" fad and realize what the real problem is.

The Eagles came at Jake all day, and we never experienced one change in play-call philosiphy.

The 3 and 5-step drop never left.

We made no adjustmenets whatsoever, and it was putred to watch.

Stop it with this whole "the most popular guy in town is the back-up QB" thing because it hasn't accomplished anything.

Matt Moore proved himself to be no better than Jake or McCown today.

All 3 of them had to put up with a relentless Philly pass-rush that made it impossible to play our game, and instead of adapting-we just kept beating the dead horse, and it led to a 4 TD blowout.

I'm not sold on Moore either...but he can't be any worse than Jake is now. The last 2 games Jake has played he's had like 9 turnovers. Unacceptable.

Its not just the last two games. Jake has been up and down and extremely inconsistent since the first Tampa game last year. Tampa, Detroit, Oakland, Atlanta, were all terrible games on his part. He looked good against Green Bay last year, and ok in a couple of other games, but it seems to me that his confidence is severly shaken, and its a problem thats been developing slowly ever since the Seattle NFC championship game. Part of it is that defenses have really learned how to defense us and him, part of it is him making terrible decisions. And it seems to me that he has lost what little mobility he had.

Jake needs to sit down a few games. I don't care how much money he makes, but he needs to sit and observe and maybe he will break out of the funk, but probably not.

I thought Matt Moore actually looked pretty good today. He has a quick delivery and is a bit more mobile than any other qb we have. He probably needs to play next week, but I have no doubt it will be Jake.

The best QB needs to start. Im not sure if thats Moore but Im not sure if thats Jake ether. Jakes in a slump and Im not sure how you get a QB out of it. If I did I guess I would be a QB coach. im saying that while jake couldn't complete a simple crossing route, the coaches couldn't come up with a scheme to protect the qb. epic fail on all fronts.
