Amini......playing better

I have busted his balls quite often, but he has done a decent job filling in for the beast. The pass rush that Cam faced this week should have been stymied by better play calling (a k.a: screens, short dump offs etc). Amini did alright and for this I give him credit. The ball busting will stop because he has performed better then expected. Credit where credit is due.

Eugene and Mick on Panthers radio were going on about Kalil raising hell with the refs cuz the Tack's D-Line was grabbing and holding him to clear the middle for those blitzes. Gotta wonder if Amini was getting the same treatment or if he was whiffing his blocks.

I'll trust Gettleman to make an appropriate offer for his skill level this off-season.

I'm not. Did we watch the same game? I saw him whiff a lot. Not to mention those blitzes were coming up the middle for a reason. Where was Turner, hurt?

These are my thoughts exactly. Amini still can't pass pro for poo.

I will say this though. I do think he run blocks just a little bit better than Norwell.

Pass blocking is more important, IMO. LeBeau watched film on this flop, and drew up stunts and blitzes that came right in his face, and he failed. 5 Sacks. He needs to go, a wasted draft pick like there Division II lineman we drafted the year after him, Kugbila.
