Or it could just be that Devin missed valuable reps/time in training camp/preseason, and has been gradually adjusting to the NFL, and the WR position at 21 years old. Compared to Kelvin Benjamin who had all of training camp/preseason his rookie year to adjust to the NFL paired with being 24 years old, and entering the league with much needed years of experience at WR in college, and a championship season with FSU.

No.  I'm sorry, but no.  You want your best players out there, all the time.  Maybe instead, things have started to slow down for Funchess.  He's able to get into the game instead of playing catch up.

I like that idea better than a coach saying "Yeah dude, go out there and give 40% effort so we can play gotcha in November and December!"
