Bell vs Kalil is not valid. Independent evaluators like PFF had one as near the bottom of his position while the other is consistently near the top.

In the case of Shula, our O, the one he designs and controls, is near the top of league rankings.

Are you talking about presently, or throughout Shula's entire tenure here? Opinions of him weren't formed at the beginning of this season.

But the point of Bell and Kalil is this: the team records for both players are identical, although their job performance is vastly different. Shula and Gettleman's records are also identical, but their job performance has been vastly different.

Their performance has been vastly different based on what? The opinion of the Huddle?

Based on offensive statistics. You do realize that this is the first year since he took over that we havent been in the bottom half of the league in scoring offense? One may also include some questionable play calls over the years, but there is a reason why folks don't hold him in as high esteem as Gettleman.

David Gettlemen's regular season record---that is a 70% win percentage.

Remember, he inherited a bad team with bad contracts and was $16m over the cap less than 3 years ago.

That is all.

NFL executive of the year

I don't agree that Gettleman inherited a "bad team".

Look at the core that was here from our previous GM when Gettleman took over.

Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, Greg Olsen, Ryan Kalil, Charles Johnson, Josh Norman, Thomas Davis.

That is some top shelf talent for any GM to walk into a job with. Gettleman did a fantastic job building around from there.
