I agree, but bo rounds have grown on me over the years.

I remember the time before bo rounds, when they sold triangular, thick hash brown patties...

 

I didn't know this until a few years ago, but Bojangles has some different regional options, depending on where the location is and what the manager wants to serve. We used to own a camper near Topsail, and the Bojangles down there served a "Chicken Rice Bowl" which was basically dirty rice, chunks of grilled chicken supremes, cheese, and I think pinto beans all mixed in a bowl.

Me personally, I like the plain old sausage biscuit, the cajun filet biscuit, the chicken supremes, the dirty rice, the fries, the bo rounds, the mashed potatoes n' gravy, and the cajun pintos the best. Oh, and bo berry biscuits too.

For breakfast get a chicken biscuit with seasoned fries. Biscuit with gravy aint bad either if you dine in. Sweet tea, always sweet tea.

I met the guy who invented the BoBerry biscuit for Bojangles. He is now working for a regional fried Chicken place called Kickin Chicken.

Bojangles has the best biscuit of any chain restaurant.  The chicken is ok, but a little spicy hot for my taste.

I think their mac n cheese is terrible.

Some places make it better than others. It's not great anywhere but If I'm going to cheat I'm getting my mac n cheese in with it.

Mac and cheese is my comfort food though. Even when its meh, its still good to me.
