Cam's celebration was not excessive

i was watching the game with my dad who likes cam, but didn't like that extra performance after that particular play and i told him that cam doesn't do that unless there's been something coming from the stands or from a player or two that the extra stuff is a response to. he won't do that unless it's directly targeted at someone. i figured it was woodyard the way that they were going at it.

Most people, the rational majority, will agree.  The media will run with this as Cam's immaturity showing itself again all week.

I think the narrative is changing quite a bit. Most national media's coverage of the banner incident were in favor of Cam. Years ago they would've ripped him a new one and been talking about how he should be suspended and all that nonsense. This incident won't even make headlines anyways but if it is to be written about I bet they'd take Cam's side now.

    • Just an FYI, this stat line was brought up more than once for TMJ and Mingo. Maybe he will, but he got a ton of snaps last year. By snaps, XL was our number 1 WR. Thielen and Coker outperformed him on 40-50% less snaps. Reminded me of TMJ where people kept saying he needs more targets when snap wise he was our WR2 for most of his time. XL needs to be better and be able to turns all those snaps into production.
    • Justin Simmons interested in two NFC East teams The former All-Pro safety is currently a free agent and it appears that there are two teams he'd prefer to play for: The Eagles or the Commanders.  Simmons revealed that information on the "Talkin' Ball" podcast and you can check out his full comments here. With the Eagles trading away C.J. Gardner-Johnson, it will be interesting to see if they even contact the 31-year-old Simmons.  If Simmons went to Philadelphia, it would reunite him with Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. Simmons spent the first eight seasons of his career in Denver and three of those came while Fangio was head coach.
    • You know, Thomas just kept fooling everyone in that building somehow. Remember how many times he "flashed in training camp/practice" and then disappeared during the season? It was NUTS. I don't see ever being okay paying significantly above market value for a blocking TE. They are just too easy to be had for a small price tag. That's just my personal philosophy on the matter. Not the way I like to see cap space utilized.
