Coaching led to loss, not Delhomme!!!!!

john fox isn't a boad coach he just coached a bad game and jake delhomme isn't a bad qb he just had a bad game. coaching nor delhomme lost the game. it was a team effort and they lost as a team.

a lot of people are ignoring some important details in the aftermath. on a punt return, an eagle player clearly hit our guy in the back and that should not have been a TD. also on the same play captain munnerlyn completely took himself out of the play and covered the punt as if the returner had called for a fair catch. those are huge errors by the refs and the captain.

on delhomme's first int i thought the ball was tipped, i cannot confirm this though.

Julius Peppers, Thomas Davis, Muhsin Muhammad, Rhys Lloyd, and the water boy all had good games. i'm not worried at all about this loss. we're 0-1 it's a 16 game season, after this week about 16 teams will be 0-1, it doesn't mean much. the titans beat the panthers in the super bowl year by a lot, these games happen and it's a bit logical to see a connection between this game, the preseason and the playoff game last year, but that's logic i for one choose to ignore.

Sigh... the ball was throw behind Steve by the no accurate Jake. INT

Steve was surrounding by Eagles. The ball landed right in Brown hands, 2 INT

Jake pressured like crazy, still decided to throw. 3rd INT

Jake fumble had a lot to do with the non blocking ass o-line. But fumbles with Jake is VERY common

The o-line will improve, Jake will not. He's older now and can't see the whole field like he used to. Sometimes he hold the ball too long and some passes be off target

Fox gets blame too, not so much Jeff cause I know Jeff would open up more if he had full control. They dont trust him, which makes us even more conservative. So why is he in the game. Thats all Fox fault. And Fox totally doesn't know anything about the word adjustments. Its like he no longer adjusts at all

We need a QB.

Jake should not have thrown those balls, and that could have been the worst fumble I have ever seen !!! I wont blame him for that one though. None of QBS looked good because they had to pass, pass, pass...we were down by too many points.

But with Philly blitzing non stop I would think we could have ran some slant routes in the middle!!!

This was like a re-run of the playoff game,.Great first drive - then Jake,Jake,Jake,Jake, jake !!!!!!!!!!!!

I, for one, think that this is going to be a long one with a lot of heartache for us Panther fans. What we saw in the preseason was a small window of what is to come, and I think today proved it. I always supported Jake, even after the playoff game last year. But after today, I see that he is done. After I booed him for the third time today(or was it the fourth?) I sat back down in my seat and felt really bad for the guy. I just reflected on what all he has done for us over since 2003...all the comebacks...all the playoff wins...coming back last year from surgery..and I just don't think he has it anymore. Our O-line was pathetic...and needs to be torn a new one by the staff! But Jake has no accuracy anymore. I hate it for the guy, and the team. And we have no 1st round pick next year to go out and draft a Colt McCoy or Sam Bradford...our "trade" for next year's number one pick isn't even starting this year!! I have a feeling it will be a while before this team has another winning season. Hopefully I'm wrong...but I think we do need to see what we have in Matt Moore. He did really well two years ago, and I thought he would be starting by now. I don't think Jake will make it through next weeks game either...I hear the Falcons have a good defense...so I think Moore will get his shot. I hate it...but after today I feel that the Delhomme era is over.

I suggest actually watching the game next time retard, instead of just looking at the stat sheet.

He did watch the game like everyone and everyone saw that Jake was really bad...Hint...That's why he finally got pulled.. Come on man...get the Bojangles grease out of your eyes !!..He is not what he use to be...Stop living in the past and look what's happening today...

its hard to defend Jake, because it takes some kind of coincedence for this to 'not be his fault', after watching that horrible Playoff game last season.

he's lost it.

HOWEVER, when do we start bitching about the O-Cordinator and Fox for play calling, schemes, and predictablity.

Henning wasn't that bad, it is Fox

did somebody forget to tell everyone that this isn't the 5th preseason game, the game plan or lack there of was horrible, vanilla offense, less than vanilla defense, Thomas Davis having a 14 tackle game is not even a bright spot it just meant the D was on the field too damn much, there is no excuse good enough for the OLine that returns every starter back to not understand how to pass block, pick up the Eagles "blitz" and open a running lane for a back, I'm holding out hope that Meeks' arrival will prove to be a better option than Trgovac was, I know that Harris was out and he's the QB of the D but everyone gets paid to do their job to the best of their ability but the lack of fundamentals like wrapping up when making a tackle just proves the discipline is not where it needs to be, the whole organization needs to check themselves because the product that was on display today is nothing to be proud of

...off of my soap box (sigh)
