Coaching led to loss, not Delhomme!!!!!

Something must be said for words like "talent" , "instinct", "intelligence" or "accuracy" all of which are un-coachable..... no coach can decide to take a sack, or force an inaccurate terrible throw...

I'm sure the coaches would rather give up 4 sacks, over 4 picks, or a 5 yard check down to a RB in the flat, over smith in quad-coverage 30 yards down field any day...

There is no excuse for him... either he is the worst starting QB in the league or he is a "Double Agent/ Sleeper Cell" accepting bribes from the rest of the NFC south.

Jake Delhomme Thanks for (2001-[2007 first 3 games]) but your f***king fired.

the play calling or lack thereof is an equal problem.

Fox basically said in this post game to be ready for Jake to be back.

One day people will realize that the talent in Carolina has gotten those wins and Fox's coaching has little to do with it.

i've never like fox. too conservative. bill cohwer knows how to manage a game and at this point thats what we need. no spectacular plays. we dont need to bomb the ball down to smith every play. we need solid advancement down the field. take time off the clock. convert 3rd and short consistently. fox gave it a good run for 8 yrs. time for fresh blood, HC wise.

whats this 6 losses in a row.... geeze...
The panthers had all preseason to get their act straight. Does one loss make the season bad for us no. but the way carolina played today is showing other wise for the season. I would love to see a sudden miracle happen next week. But don't hold your breath.

exactly...i am content with watching the University of South Carolina play. they may have lost this past weekend but those boys play with heart. and their coaching doesnt suck either

Fact: Delhomme is not mobile

Fact: Every QB needs some time to set before passing

Fact: Unblocked defensive players got through the Oline on numerous occasions

Fact: Knowing all this, Coaches did not adjust nor did they coach the players to pick up blitz or convert the passes to a three step drop.

That being said, Jake $ucjed it up. He looked like he as fighting off demons and flashbacks from the Cards game. His passes were late, off, etc.

What do you get when your starting QB, an over-achieving back-up from another team's bench, has a serious elbow surgery then hits the age/ability wall and you have no competent back-up because the team for years hasn't wanted to bring in anyone who could challenge that QB for the starting role and/or doesn't believe in drafting quarterbacks and coudn't develop them if they did draft them?

ANSWER: Jake having a 4-pick encore to his playoff nightmare, Josh McCown coming in off the bench and going down, Moore being sent in to wrap up the loss, a 28 point Eagles lead in Charlotte in the season's very 1st game...and the potential for a very long, very disappointing season!

In Jake's defense, the Cats' offensive line that was being heralded as so good prior to the game cold not slow down the Eagles rush. Carolina dosn't have any WRs that frighten anyone other than Steve Smith, and they know all they have to do is blanket Smith and Jake will STILL try to force a pass to him....often resulting in a pick now.
