Coaching led to loss, not Delhomme!!!!!

Shutup you Jake apologist. He's horrible, I hope his career is over soon. Jake, go break a leg, literally.

Idiot... Do you even know if I am a Jake fan... I'm stating what I saw... Jake obviously had bad throws, but unless you are a mobile quarterback, with the carolina oline and philly dline matchup, any other quarterback would have suffered the same fate.

I disagree to a point on this subject. Fox is a coach that has lost his impact on his players. John Fox movetivation is not working anymore. Plus you can clearly see that Jake Delhomme just ain't been right since coming back from the Tommy John elbow Surgry. Even though this is game one and it's not time to push the panic button yet. But you can clearly see the signs in front of you that this most liky is going to be Jakes last season even with the new contract. Because this most likly will be Marty Hurney and Foxs last season aswell if the panthers has a awful season like the lions did last year. Yet to be scene what is going to happen. But trust me if panthers 09 record is bad Fox Marty both are gone and this team will get a complete overhaul. The include players and coaching staff alike.

Game one and we are already comparing ourselves to the Lions of '08? Throttle back there, Turbo.

Some of you clearly ain't seeing what I am seeing. Jake delhomme before his surgry was throwing a hole lot better then after his injury. Fact is that Jake has not fully recoveried from the injury even after 2 years healing. Jake does not have it anymore. Face facts. I enjoyed the years Jake gave us. But fact is fox is not cutting it anymore and Jake is not what he use to be. His elbow has alot to do with plain and simple. It just doesn't seem Jake throws the same way he did before the injury. Guys we need a new GM and new HC in carolina. I am calling on either Mike Shannan are Bill Corward point blank.

Fox indicated that Delhomme would be the starter next week.

Seriously, we have no one else. Moore threw an INT as well with much less play time, I don't think he'll be any better. Luckily, the only thing we can count on Jake to be is inconsistent. He's bad sometimes, average other times, good other times and slit-your-wrists terrible on days like today. I don't think he will be this bad next week. At least I hope he won't be.

1st interception...bad pass...not entirely delhommes fault. the othe ones, well poor blocking up front and horrible play calling are to blame. did delhomme suck? yes? but why we got away from our run game and managing the ball i have no idea. the offensive line decided after the first drive they didnt need to block anymore. and the play calling? omfg. why are bombing the ball down the field? short managable passes. move the ball. run the ball. set up play action later. the true meltdown here was like the playoff game. the play callers freaked and got away from the game plan. i bet if we had made shorter, managable passes, run the ball, we could have kept it close despite the two first turnovers. if anyone needs the boot, or rather a punch in the face, its the offensive coordinator. jake isnt the long term solution i will admit, but trading away our first round picks, we cant draft a franchise quarterback anytime soon.

Something must be said for words like "talent" , "instinct", "intelligence" or "accuracy" all of which are un-coachable..... no coach can decide to take a sack, or force an inaccurate terrible throw...

I'm sure the coaches would rather give up 4 sacks, over 4 picks, or a 5 yard check down to a RB in the flat, over smith in quad-coverage 30 yards down field any day...

There is no excuse for him... either he is the worst starting QB in the league or he is a "Double Agent/ Sleeper Cell" accepting bribes from the rest of the NFC south.

Exactly... where were the quick throws that other teams always kill us with...

Delhomme was horrid...when are we going to figure out that he isnt a worthy starting QB...yes the oline didnt help but he is not good period...I used to always stick up for him...say it was a bad game or sh^t happens..but it is getting to a point where we need to look into drafting a Qb of the fututre...yes I know fox doesnt like rookie Qbs but Id rather have a Potential rookie QB than a moron who throws worse than my 80 yr old Grandmother!!

We were going to have to draft a QB next year anyway, IMO. We all know Jake isn't going to be around for 5 years and we knew it before todays game. Next year is a pretty deep draft for QBs, we should be able to pick up a quality player with our second round pick. Being a gator fan, I vote The Golden Calf of Bristol.

1st series... eagles don't blitz as much and we score a touchdown..

Every series after that, they adjusted and started blitzing... we unravel....

Well fact is some people don't want to face facts that fox Motivation is not working anymore. And that Jake arm is not the way is was before the injury. Key people who need to go bye bye after this season if we have a bad record is Fox and Delhomme and most likly Marty. We need a new coach to bring some freshness to the team like other teams have over the past few years like the cards and saints and the falcons and so on. Lok what happen to them. They became good teams just about every season. My point is made.:rolleye:
