Anyone else in Durham for this right now? Girlfriend and I are. Got a Charlie Adlard and Greg Nicotero signed concept art piece of both Walker Sofia and Walker Shane. Lots of awesome cosplay as well.

Who are the celebs who usually go to it?  What happens?  I've gone to the Seattle Comicon the last couple years and wouldn't mind hitting NC...

Usually only a couple big names. This year, Gerard Way and Charlie Adlard. Lot of artists from more independent comics. Valiant Comics has a big showing. No TV or film stars, unfortunately. But the event is showing Masters of the Universe and Godzilla all weekend. 

A lot of panels and seminars. Costume contests, obviously. Tons of vendors.

It's only been running for 6 years. The Durham convention center can't hold the people at this point. They're going to have to get a bigger area eventually. I'm sure as it grows and succeeds, they'll attract more big names.

Also I think Frank Cho and Bernard Chang are there, somewhere.
