You just reiterate what I've always believed about the Peppers haters. You only look at stats. The guy got most of his stats in the second half, so you just assume he wasn't playing hard until then.

if you want to hate then do where it belongs. Like Fox for example. Carolina again came into a game with a weak gameplan. You wonder why teams can tee-off on Jake and make him look so bad? Carolina runs like 6 plays over and over......they know what he is doing and that isnt' all Jake's fault. Now I am not defending Jake b/c a change needs to be made.....but no one is put in a position for success in Carolina. Coaching is pathetic here. Sure, when the 5 plays work like against Tampa last year people think Fox is coaching a great team. Tampa thought it was pathetic they couldn't stop 4 plays that they knew were coming each and every time. Philly knew everything coming today after a certain point in the game. Jake played bad and Fox is a bad coach. Those are the only legit complaints today.

How much time did McNabb spend on the field in the 1st half? In that little amount of time Peppers made plays and was all over the field. Just b/c he didn't have highlight key stat you are looking for doesn't mean he wasn't one of the few on defense that showed up that first half. Why don't you actually watch players and what they do on the field.

Jake didn't allow the defense to be in position to make many plays the 1st half of the game.

The ppl dissing Pep are delusional. The dude was all over the field. He played well the whole gm lol. Meeks actually had had Pep standing up in a def package at the DT position. Maybe we will see Pep used more creatively. I don't believe Pep dropped back into coverage even once today. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember seeing it.

I don't think Beason even recorded a tackle the 1st half......according to your logic he obviously didn't do enough then by only showing up in the 2nd half. Seriously, watch the games and not only the stat column. The defense as a whole played well for most of the game.....a couple of lapses in coverage that Philly really didn't cash in on. Jake/Richardson/Fox screwed the team over this week. The defense came in ready to do what they really needed to from the looks of things today......

He was actually getting pressure on Mcnabb throughout the gm. When Beason picked off Mcnabb the score was 31-10 so how can you call out Pep for having garbage time stats?

You haters realize Philadelphia had 1 drive that resulted in points in the entire first half right? All their other points came on a short field or with the defense not even on the field. It's hard to get pressure on a west coast offense. 3 step drop and the ball is out. For christ sake Mcnabb was only 10/18 for 79 yards.
