I have been a staunch Jake supporter on here for a long time......but with that said, I Jake has got to go. I cannot sit around and watch this garbage any longer. I get too emotionally involved with this team, and I pay a lot of money for the Sunday Ticket. If the season continues like this, I dont think that I can support my team anymore....and it makes me sick to even say that, but it will ruin my day every game day if this poo keeps going on for much longer.

McCown is trash too. The only quarterback on our roster worthy of starting is Moore, but of course he won't, because Fox is an idiot and Moore isn't a veteran.

You're being way too generous. Moore is not a starter in this league. We have a giant hole at QB and unless they sign somebody else, it's going to stay that way for the rest of the year. I realize the back-up QB is always the most popular player on the team, but truth is, they suck too.

Moore is not the answer. Yes, he has a decent arm, and he can make some plays, but he also locks onto one receiver, and he doesnt make good decisions at all. I dont know what the answer is, but I dont think that its Moore.

It's now time to try something different.

Normally, I'd say it's one bad game... And the OLine was absolutely HORRIBLE for the most part. But after how shaky he looks in the pocket and the bad decision making, he may be David Carr'd...

Either way, whoever is back behind center, that pass protection has to improve. Time to try a little harder at finding a replacement. I think Matt Moore has a chance to show us what he really has, instead of what we see in preseason. '07 wasn't a bad year for him.

Jake isn't going to be "that guy" who plays til he's 37-40... Not that he was ever, but it's more evident that time frame is shrinking.

One thing to keep in mind is that it is the start of the season. If the OLine offered better pass protection it might be 2 INTs instead of 5 (IIRC)... The 1st 2 TO's were what changed the game.

We were actually kicking ass on both sides of the ball before this meltdown... We all thought we were going to give the Eagles a game they better live up for, until the TO's...

I think back to when Jim Everett got hit one time too many. Once a QB has the happy feet, they're done.

Oh, and taking Stewart over Flacco is Hurney and Fox's undoing.

this. could be the last mistake Hurney and Fox makes. I can see needing a power back, but there was value later in the draft (AKA Matt Forte)

also, the game wasn't COMPLETELY Jake's fault. the o'line was God-awful today and decided to take the day off after the first series. they can account for the fumble and one of jake's interceptions. the rest was on Jake, especially that 1st pick that looked to be behind smith. i think we should look for someone else, but Fox will play him the next game. right now we're paying him too much to bench him (and i wouldn't mind if he was cut). so, i expect to see jake back in there and actually improve. you can't get too much worse than today...i hope....

I think I would give Jake until the Bye to turn it around. Lets face it, Moore is not the answer either, so we might as well see if Jake can turn it around. It is only 2 more games. The whole offense played horrible today. The o-line didn't play well, the backs and TEs didn't pick up blitzes, the coaches didn't do a good job adjusting. I am in no way a Jake apologist, I just don't think Moore is gonna be any better. I would at least give Moore the full two weeks to prepare for his first start.

Fact is this... with Jake we're not going anywhere. Thats a fact... so you rather lose with Delhomme or with Moore? Moore brings something new and different. He's younger, more accurate, atleast makes checks at line, and more athletic than Jake. I rather lose with him. In fact he was part of the reason our team came together last year and wanted to improve after fighting in 07

You give people chances in this league. The future isn't set. You never know how things turn out
